As we all know, insults and personal attacks win arguments. So I will just let the 5 or so folks patting each other on their backs for homophobia and ridiculoulsly unsupported opinions consider this a win. Even though history has shown before and will show again that you are on the losing side of this battle, and wrong. I'm sure a similar uproar was heard from folks like you when (gasp) women wanted to fight in the army. Or when (gasp) you couldn't stop civil rights from being filibustered. The progressive side, the one that favors decency to fellow human beings and equal rights for all, always wins out. You think I have lots to learn? Did you ever realize the Romans and Spartans had openly gay soldiers? I think both of them did pretty well, as far as armies go (at least for their times). Or are you just choosing to willfully ignore this fact?

What defines if someone is 'gay'?
If someone had 1 gay encounter in their life, but the rest were all hetero, are they gay? How about the person who has had 1 hetero encounter in their life, and the rest were all gay? Homosexuality/heterosexuality is a continuum, not a black and white, clear-cut divide. So where do you want to draw the line? WHo gets booted, who gets to serve?
Another question I'd like to hear the bigots of this board answer honestly is whether they believe homosexuality to be a choice or not.
