its getting to be about that time to chop down the three Twilight ladies, however I have noticed little to no change in the past few days.
Conditions:
Pistils: 80% oranged out, new ones still forming.* at a very declined rate*
Calyxs: swollen and still developing, little change in the past few days.nice swollen fox tails with a soft and pleasing lavender-purple hue toward the tips.
Trichomes: No change in size, resin maturity seems to have not changed in the last few days, it is about 40%-60% mature.
Fan Leaves: Some nutrient issues are visible, Obvious depletion of Nitrogen, however, Leaves may be "wind burnt". I think the stretch these girls took in the first few weeks may be leading to a lack of moisture up top, some buds somewhat "dry" to the touch. The fan leaves that have not been hit with nitrogen loss are soft to the touch, but not as soft as is can be. They overall canopy color is medium-dark green, with a Dark-mean looking purple starting to develop along the veins. the purple started about a week to ten days ago, and has not completely developed.
Resovoir Conditions: Current PPM is around 520, this is because I expected this week (10) to be harvest week. I have been recirculating my resovoir, topping off nutrients and water as needed, keeping the PH at 6.2-6.4. A few days ago my Digital meter died out, and I've been eyeballing ph test solution with little to no confidence.
Questions for anyone reading this:
1)Should I dump my current resovoir, and place my plants into a fresh resovoir of Clearex @ 6.4? my concern is flushing before the resin and pistil actually being mature??
2)Should I just continue topping of my resovoir with ph'd or un ph'd water?
thank you to all, good luck on your ventures
