You do realize the govt is corrupted and the corrupted by the private sector. Right now lobbiest money runs congress. Private sector donates way more than either you or I could ever offer. You pay and you get what you want. That's how govt. works.

I wanted his healthcare reform with public option before all the bi-partisan bullshit and pork money thrown on top. A lot of people did. You and the republicans don't.

My problem is. Instead of debating and comming up with their own plan (Lets be honest, tort reform. Will not fix healthcare. And state to state healthcare helps out the private sector) or debated and worked something out with democrats. They choose to start on scare tactics and the stupid americans fell for it.

And I have no problem with Conservatives. But Republicans are backing Sarah Palin, Scott Brown and that guy who did the state of the union. Use your brains and get Ron Paul up there, I would vote for him. I guarantee he'd be able to win the election.

But no, follow Sarah Palin, force christian beliefs on us and let us continue be testing ground for the drug industry.

FDD.... I understand Palin being a point of ridicule by those who fear her.... but to base a character not on her but her son... that is tasteless. Funny, but tasteless. A sign of the times.

Then again, Obama made fun of the Special Olympics..... another sign of the times.

No shit who cares. It's a cartoon. I loved how they had her super agressive, beating up Chris.
Imagine if that ran while she was running for VP. She probably would backed out.

Palin calls for Rahm's resignation and for Obama to fire him when he says LIBERALS are retards... Rush's comments were 100 times worse (not that I actually give a fuck because I don't believe in censorship, but in the context, 100 times worse). Not a fuckin' peep... :sleep:

(couldn't be because he's on "the same team" - proof they play you guys like a fiddle)

FDD..... so what that the character was a girl..... it was quite OBVIOUS what the intent was. making fun of the handicapped person whose Mom happens to be in politics is not fair game. You want to attack Palin ... no problem there. But don't go through the children ... and don't go through the handicapped.

All it proves is the bitch is a hypocrite, as well as being a liar, and she doesn't actually stand up for what she claims she believes in unless it's coming from the opposition.

And when did you get so politically correct? Everyone is fair game, stop being so sensitive.

We all agree that she is a stupid person. And, we don't expect anything intelligent or even kind to fall from her lips.

Sheesh, the woman defends Rush's use of the word retard. I am a father, you can mock me but I'll be damned if you mock the challenges of my children. That alone tells me she's willing to sacrifice anything to get power.

The problem is that A LOT of people in this country are willing to follow her. AND she has an entire "news" organization backing her.

It was cruel satire.... and tasteless. I don't care what political leanings a politician has....they should be fair game to made fun of ... but not their kids.

Not a good precedent.....not a good direction. Imagine having a fantastic leader emerge, but he/she has some kids who are quirky or are afflicted in some way.

Willing to throw them through the gauntlet of satire for public amusement? Should that actually have to be considered? Have we sunk that low?

Apparently.... we have.

Now that's impressive. How the fuck did they get all those kids in front of the camera without a single one picking his nose? I can't get mine to sit for a single Christmas photo without a wardobe malfunction or a fight breaking out.
