which way/path to more bud

ok i have 2 options here that i would like you to help me. i finished folding up my small tent yesterday and the tent is kinda small so my question is, which way would growing get me more weed. my tent is about 5ft tall.


1ST OPTION
2 large pots. (if i want big plants , i can only fit a max of 2, so that means 2 large pots that cover like 75% of the tent. then the plants can cover the rest of the tent.



2ND OPTION
i can fit about 5x 2g pots in my tent, which will lead me to like 2-3 ft height plants.


which method will give me more bud?

i finished my growth with 5 small plants. came out with like a 6 month supply when used moderately. but it was 150w hps =[ so it was fluffy. i will try 250w next time.

I think option two would give you more. As for container size though, If you get creative, you can find larger sizes that take up less space. For example: 3gallon buckets are about 12" across. Three gallon plastic trashcans, are probably half that, across.

Didnt you just tell someone in another post not to put more than one plant in a planter?


Load up your planters with plants. FIM the shit out of them. They will get root bound and youll have to water them more often, but youll have a lot of nodes and, you get 3 harvests. You get a first harvest of the tops and sides that get the most light. Your second one a couple of weeks later (this is a big one) for the other buds that werent quite ready yet. Then a week later, the lower buds can be harvested.

dude....yes i did say that coming from my experiences.......ive done a scrog before.....one plant in one pot....give it room to grow....a weave up the screen with the branches........this will maximize light and produce a ton more of shoots and budding sites........give the roots room to grow....bigger buds.......i dont put 10-30 some odd seeds in one pot.......and i meant guy....one plant in each5 gal bucket......

well i actually need some "cloning lessions" so i was thinking 1g pots in my small tent can fit about 8-10 of 1g pots. and that will just be to practice how to clone. so i might go w/ the small plants but after that, i'd like to go w/ maybe 2 big pots that fits nicely in my small tent and see how that works.

so what are the benefits of giving the roots more room to grow? and to thrive around. (like spreading all around a big pot)

The biggest advantage is that the plant can absorb more nutes and water to produce more plant. Thing is, once you grow a plant to its full maturity, cut it down, then break down the grow, youll see that there is a lot of wasted space in your planter called DIRT.

Thats right. All that dirt could be roots. Dirt, like any growing medium, is just a wallet to hold moisture, air, and nutes so the plant can dip into it whenever it wants. Roots dont NEED dirt. For all practical purposes, you could hang your plant up by a clothes pin and it would be fine, so long as you kept the roots moist, the plant fed, and light shining on it, it doesnt know the difference and doesnt care.

I learned this when i was 10, visiting EPCOT Center at Disney World where they were growing tomatoes on a moving track (like what you see at dry cleaners) with no growing medium at all. It was fascinating.

Thats also why you see people and their party cup competitions with massive plants. They understand that all you need to do is keep the roots moist, the plant fed, and light shining on it.

so i could like grow one plant in a bucket and just let the bucket get packed or filled up with roots and thats ok? and that will make the plant bigger? only problem with that is that my tent is 5 feet talk so the plant would need to be smaller if it grew bigger i would prob need to chop parts of it from the top to avoid it from exceeding 5ft + being too close to the light although cool air would fix heat. but yeah, foreal ?
