alright today i transplanted 2 of my biggest vegging plants both are shishkaberry. i put them in 3 gal pots. and they are about 9 inches tall with a few main shoots they somehow topped them selves it seems. i also sprayed them with the reverse cuz they are in flower with hermies. witch are still spittin out male unopend sacs. but it seems like the reverse stopped seed productio. i sprayed it to late to stop the hermie i think. i sprayed the shiska with the reverse just to be safe and will follow it upo in 10 days. i can now tell the differenc form my clones the shiska berry looks more sative with longer blades and a greener stalk. the purple indica have fatt short leafs and have a very dark purp stem just like my buddy said so i have 3 shiskaberry and three purple indica. als i am making a buch of iso hash. i used about 2 ozs of elvis and white rino bud trim. so there is alot will put pics up of final product when done. i am also using the same bud trim twice for this to ensure i get everything, im sure the 2nd batch wont be as dank though. also got a pair of my favorite trimmers today. and some new veg nutes i think my ff was going to shit. so i got the floranova veg and bloom.

Cloning straight into soil is much more difficult than using little rapid rooters (either pucks or expanded moss). I have also found that small surface areas in cloning chamber help to keep humididty at very high levels for clones. I like to use small domes from a company called "planters pride" they have a 2.5inch dome and are 3 spaces wide (in which I only put clones in the center isle, 2 complete trays will fit under a 2ft 2tube t5). They are really cheap at garden supply centers (not walmart like stores) I get a very high success rate with these compared to when I used to use larger domes that fit more clones. And remember to mist undersides of leaves daily as that is where the plant perspires from.

Great job on the LST, I just started tying them down for the first time just the other day.

i know its harder but ive tried jiffy pellets and others and had no succses and i dont have money for them any way or to by a dome. and i do mist every day. what part of oregon are u from im lookin for a grower or land i can grow on my self. im in southern oregon:mrgreen: and if u need any lst help check the thread in the links below its all about lst

Hey McPurple!

I've just spent the last while looking at your journal and I just don't know what to say, you've got some fantastic plants!

And concerning the Flora Nova nutes, I suspected they could be changing the pH, and I bet the regular Flora I'm using is as well.

I'm on my first grow and I need to gain some experience and I've read like everything from books to the Internet, and at this point, I've made every mistake I knew not to do. But if I can do half as good as you, then I'll be there!

And I am a total newb, but concerning the yellow leaves you've got during flowering, from everything I've read, that's totally normal. The plants are nitrogen deficient, especially near the end, when all the energy is put into making buds.

Congrats on the fantastic plants!

thanks for all the compliments smokemore. i made alot of mistakes myself and even have made mistakes this round. this is only my 4th real grow but its going good. the earlly yellowing is my main problem and yes it is natural for them to do this near the end but this started in week 2 of flower. but the buds are still growing great. thanks for stoppin by. you got a journal or anything goin:joint::mrgreen:

You're more than welcome, you deserve every compliment!

And I don't yet have a journal, I'm on my first grow. I might start a journal on the second grow after I've got a little experience under my belt, so I won't look so bad!

But I'm doing this first grow totally straight, I can even pass a drug test, and I hate that! Once I have something to smoke, I'll do better I'm sure!

I've got two plants going, and so far, I think I've over watered, the pH was off, I've nute burned them, I think I had an iron and magnesium deficiency, and the humidity was too low.

Well, I've stopped watering, I ordered a digital pH meter, I'll mix the next nutes at half strength, I got some Epsom salts and have some iron tablets, and I've since bought a vaporizer to fix the humidity.

Now if they'll just recover and start growing I'll be happy.

yes it is very oily at first cuz i dont let it dry completey bfore i scrape it off. i freeze it when its about all the way dry then i scrape it off when cold cuz its much easier. and after its in the storing container for a few days it really gets more thick almost like resin but much better tasting and smoking. and yes ive smoked alot so far. its dank to i usally spread the oild in a blunt wrap and rool a hash oil filled blunt and it just knocks me out, and ya i am counting the days i think they have been in their for 36 days now. still no amber trichs, and i think one will have to be harvested a lil early to creat some room and cuz it seems to be slowly dieing. i wish i knew the strain so i knew the flower time:bigjoint:

ok today i topped 2 purple indica that are in veg and 1 shiskberry in veg. the reason is they were about 12 inches tall and with them that tall i was considerd illegal so i topped them down except 1 cuz its still a runt. i am tryin to clone the purple indica tops. i might transplant them to 1 gal grow bags also soon because i think their gettin big for the ones they are in now. heres some pics of the plants and the fresh cuts.

the first 2 pics are of all the vegging plants before topping. 3rd pic is new cuts. the rest are of the plants after topping. each plant has 2 pics a side shot and a top shot. the seedling is the elvis seed i planted awhile ago it is takin so long to get goin. and last pic is all the babies in veg enjoyin life:weed:

hey whats up hooked.

i think i am gonna start to flush the biggest one and harvest on week 6. only cuz she is takin up alot of room and i have 4 plants needing to go in also cuz she is the hermie. the other one i think i will let go a week or 2 longer. all the trichs are like 90% cloudy and 10% clear with no amber yet. but thats why i am only takin one down and lettin the other go longer:bigjoint:

Oh hell yea bro! That's gonna be a fun harvest for sure! Yea I only saw about 5% to 10% amber trich's when I harvested. I was going for the cerebral high tho, and that shit STILL put me the fuck to bed! haha, And good choice on choosing to harvest the hermy a little early. Your other girls are gonna be SO happy getting all that light she's taking up! lol, it's weird man, cuz I coulda sworn you just switched the lights over to 12/12 like 3 weeks ago! I guess watching someone else's grow seems like it's a LOT faster than watching your own! I dig!

well i swithched 12/12 4 weeks ago and started the 5th week 2 days ago so when harvest comes it will have gone 6 weeks, i also think this strain is a faster finisher.
