Now why would you say I was a troll? Just because I do not feel sorry for your friends because they got into a hobby they could not afford? But its not the first time a bunch of high school kids had grand visions of being weed lords. Guess what, 99.9 times out of 100. Well, your friends know what happens. And if you are happy with an ounce a plant, good for you. But just because thats all your abilities allow you to grow, dont think that all the rest of us should expect such small harvests.

SOURD777 thats a nice size plant there. im thinking of doing 9 plants in a 3x3 area and having a 12 inch gap around the rest of the room. that would give me space to space them out more and possibly have them grow bigger. my only concern is would i get more out of more plants or bigger plants? i just started a journal earlier today if anyone wants to take a look or watch my grow from start to finish. also i will be cloning and filling in my room soon hopefully. the journal is under "grow journals" and is named My Ken's O.G. GDP grow journal.

nice, how long did you veg for and under what lights? i did 6 northernlights #5 x skunk #1 in a 4x4 under a 400watt hps then half way through took out the 400 and put a 1000. yielded about 55 grams per plant. i think it ended up being around 10-11 ounces, but i dont remember.

a friend of mine was growing i think 18 or 20 plants in his closet, he was expecting to yield more than enough to pay for rent and smoke. my friend went to work, hurt his back and wrist (merchandise pickup @ sears) and he had to take a drug test for work. he had medical prescription, but his job didnt care too much, but they couldn't let him transfer to any different departments. he decided to quit because he had his plants going. he ended up getting less than a half pound and that was split between 3 people. he lost his job, lost his apartment, and had to stop growing due to lack of money and a place to grow.

another experience, expected 2 ounces per plant figured the math, and it would have paid for everything and electricity perfect. after harvest, he got less than half of what he thought. this means he made half as much money. and means he lost 50% of what he initially thought he would make, had to make a decision to pay the credit card from which he made the initial investment or the electrical bill and rent.

plus, all strains yield different.. some plants are common to get only 10-20 grams per plant, purple kush for example. and other plants such as cheese can get 1-3 ounces. another thing, for first time growers, its rare that someone can actually do everything right, or have the money to afford to fix everything right when it needs fixing. so low balls are just a safe way to not disappoint yourself in the end.

The ONLY lesson to learn from your post is this: Learn to grow weed before you try to make it your profession. Your "friends" cant grow to save their life by the tune of their posts. Tell them there's some videos you can order from high times. Yea.

guys remember yeild is also effected by the moon/cycles/seasons ... my mate yeiled enuff to smoke for a good year hes first grow, but then the 2nd grow was hopeless..this was all because he was growing at the rite time of the year. look it up

i veged for 8 weeks in 4 gal pots with a 400W MH, then a 400w HPS for flowering, i got about 0.76grams a watt,

wats the most ONE plant can yeild? i was wondering this today when i heard on nat geo that ONE can yeild up to a full lb. now ive had two grows and they were no where near an elbow for one plant. and this was from indoors jus like nat geo had said. they say they do this shit in Florida and that Fl grows the most indoors in the nation. i dont know bout that last part, but maybe.

ive got room, my limit is wattage. main is 15x20, 1000w, DNF nutes, soil/coconut fiber medium, nothing started
