is it better to take cuttings before or after i water?

im about to water my plants tmrw but i wanna take cuttings to make some clones as well so i was wondering if i should take them before or after i water the plants? im thinking after i water them, or does it not really matter?

You're right, allthough it isnt a huge deal you should take cuttings when the plant has the most water stored in it... so probably an hour or two after a good watering. This is important because then the clone has a nice resevoir inside it to use and wil have a better chance of surviving.
 
I've got mine on a 20/4 hour schedule, 24/0 hours is said to be a waste, (probably), I should've gone with 18/6 but I don't want to confuse the plant now so it's 20/4 until I 12/12.

Plants do need sleep too.

i dont really think it matters, just dont feed with any nutes as that could make the rooting process longer. when you take the cuttings they should go directly into a cup soaked in ph'd water 5.8-6.0

how old is the plant and how many cuttings are on it ive got a mother but bit to early 2 take cuttings its only 4 week have u got any pics mate
