As for the curing, get largest air tight glass jars and enough of them, they are cheap at IKEA and I bet they have them cheap at Wal Mart or something...

I use these air tight plastic jars I got at marshals for like 5 bucks they come from a pint to 5 gallons they have a little circle on top that seals them air tight I use them for coffee and cereal. I will find some pics

I too have a lot of bud to trim each month, I do a large perpetual grow and trim 10 to 20 lbs of wet bud ea month. I came up with this little gadget to help me out. Click on the youtube link in my signature.

As for curing, I am a total believer in glass only not plastic. I use 2 and 4 qt air tight jars I get at Walmart

Im wondering if you can use a vacuum sealer to create the "airtight" seal you need... It would be awesome cause you can custom make the size bag you'd use...

Only problem I see is crushing the bud when vac sealing. But you can always vacuum seal it to the point where it doesnt crush anything, just suck out enough air to cure, make the bag extra long and just cut to open to burp, then reseal.

I highly doubt the plastic would give it any different taste too.

-PANGcake there are always people that are like that if you just ignore them they will go away! i am going to check into the walmart glass and maybe check them out on the ikea website.

Put them in those large plastic ziplock bags, 4 gallons? Sweat them as you see fit. Personally I wouldn't bother curing them. Let the customer do that.

Everything should be dried by next tuesday and ready to go into cure for about a week

-I try to let them cure for about a week it makes a little difference in smell, taste, and appearance. Its important to me that the product looks, tastes, and smells great.

I will do a write up on which "cure box" i think works the best (IMO) i am going to be using as suggested
-5gallon buckets with rubber seal tight on lid
-120gallon fish tank with sealed top
-1gallon glass wal-mart jars
-ANY other suggestions.... i am open to trying them all

Buy a small compact car and toss it all in.

i use turkey bags. 1 pound per bag. it's the industry standard around these parts. come oct you'll be lucky to find any, or you'll find pallets of them in the cookie isle.


hang dry, then cure and store in the bags.
