I'm just gettin goin' on some brownies. I'm using 15 grams of buds from last harvest of Fucking Incredible.
I am using the oil extraction method and using a box of brownie mix. The recipe's I've read say to use 5 grams or so of good quality buds for some good brownies, so I went with 15...
I've had a "strong" brownie experience in the past and tripped the fuck out...scariest shit of my life...lookin' to get there again.
I figured I'd jump on RIU and see what you motherfuckers are up to? It's going to be an interesting night so I'll go and share the experience.
So far...
1) Find 15 grams of some dank buds for your weed eating enjoyment.
2) Grind it all up. After grinding I lost about a gram to stems that were removed so I of course ground up more bud and made sure it was 15 grams of ganja ground up perfectly.
3) Heated up 1/2 cup of vegetable oil to the "2" setting on my stove and let it come up to temperature for a minute. I let the oil get to just a very slow simmer (just bubbling) and then backed it down to "1" where it is JUST below that point.
4) Simmered Ganja in the warm/hot oil for 1 1/2 hours stirring fairly often.
5...This is where I am right now. I'm allowing the oil to cool and I will move on to the next step.
I'll update at the next step. Anybody got any pot brownie stories to share, tips for this process, or fuckin' just about anything you want to rap out about (even growing topics if you're having some trouble with plants, etc.) I'm just bored as fuck tonight I guess.
