Oh. Well I wasn't sure if there was any kind of problem because they seemed happy, the leaves weren't doing anything funny, I didn't see any obvious signs of problems like I kept getting during veg. I didn't even realize they weren't really growing until they started to yellow from the lack of nutes. I thought, well maybe its just the strain, maybe it would have growth spurts every few weeks and that it might just take 12 weeks or more to flower. I suppose I will give the vertical growing plants nutes and see if they can't recover at all.

Can yellow leaves still be of any use? On the smallest plant all the leaves without trichomes are solid yellow and kinda soft (or at least none of them feel dead and dry), but the leaves with trichomes are still good and green (although I think they are starting to turn purple around the edges of the 1/2 of leaf blade furthest from the stem).

On the 2nd tallest plant the trichome free leaves are all yellow, but maybe 1/2 of them still have some green up the middle of each finger.
if the yellow leaves have not died yet there is a chance it can come back (a small chance) and be sure to check the root ball after you harvest to see if that was your problem, ( a little late now)

and a tip, you need to learn to read your plants and feed em what they need not what a hydro store says, or what a nute company says, or what people in this forum say or what I say,,,it's your garden, your in charge, they are your plants, you are growing them,,,,not anybody else

So he is in week 10 of flower? - are they true sativa ?
12 weeks is a long time for any strain.

IMO - I would just chop them now and start again :)

I figured this would happen as I wasn't sure how to word it. But basically. I have wall heaters that have their own panel in the breaker ( I don't use them) so I am hoping to disconnect them and run a 240v line from their to the new room. I guess what I'm asking is is it really that simple? Disconnect power, remove heater line, input new line, run to room install 240v plugs at the other end, turn power on and enjoy? And anyone got a good link for guidance?

Ok yes it is pretty simple and an easy way to do it is to get a dryer cord and put a female plug on it wire it into where the heater was hooked up and like you said enjoy, you simply have to identify the 3 wires 2 are 110v and one is neutral, if you have a volt meter
the neutral to either of the 110's will read 110 if you put the meter probes on the 2 110 lines they will read 220, in this way you can properly identify them and install the female plug properly there are also a few different types of plugs so you will want one that serves your need ie; fits the 220 ballast plug

simply google wiring a 220 dryer outlet, there are lots of pages

Did u pre-soak ur cubes?! Rockwool must be soaked in pH 5.0 water for 24 hours
A heat mat and a air temps thermostatically controlled will put u on the path to high success rates cloning in RW.. Keep ur heat mat at 86 and air temps 80
the cubes soaked in water with lemon juice for 24 hrs. i dont have a heat mat, but its on the top of my veg set-up. My closet is 8' tall so its divided in to 2/3rds. veging with mh on bottom half. the top third is where the ballast sits in the far right corner. and a make shift dome using 5 gal clear bags. I have noticed better structure in 3 out of the 5 since they were put in the makeshift bag dome.

you'll have to wait for SL to answer, I have no experience with rockwool, I clone in sand

hey riddleme, ive vegged 3 of my plants for 9 weeks and the other 3 for6 1/2 weeks, and one 51/2 weeks. they are all going into flowering next week. you can check my sig for pictures.

i have a 600w HPS and will be adding a 1000w HPS 3 weeks into flowering, for a total of 1600w of flowering. i have used uncle bens method for toping to get 4 colas on all of the plants to increase yield.

they are in 5 gallon buckets with FFOF, extra earthworm castings, fresh btw, myco fungi, epsom salt, with 40% coco and added perlite.

i am using the fox farm trio soluble pack, open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching, for my flowering nutes. will also be adding humic acid, within a week or so in their next watering.

my question is, if they are let out to their full maturity i.e. weight and potency potential is reached, what do you think my weight could be, this is my first grow but have a botany background, along with doing countless hours of research throughout and before this grow.

that is with 1600w of HO HPS, Co2 at 1500 ppm during flowering, temps 83-85. im hoping for around 2- 2.5 pounds. do you think this is a plausible feat? the strains are 3 unknown, 2 Super Lemon Haze, 1 Kaya 47, and 1 White widow.

Ok guys so I will be harvesting one of my plants within the next week! But I only have one air filter and it has to stay in the tent with the last 2 plants.
I am wondering this: Do you think I can get away with hanging and drying them from the top of the tent even when the light is on? Above the reflector the temp never gets higher than 83. My only other option really is to dry them in a PC growbox I have, but it won't have a filter and the only odor control I have besides the charcoal filter thing I have is a can of ona block. Do buds usually start smelling a lot more when they dry? *The plant smells kinda like grapefruit so maybe it wouldn't be a big deal?

Do these plants look healthy to you guys? They are a little under 3 weeks old and growing under T8 fluoros. My lower leaves are turning yellow and dying. I know this is suppose to happen, but wasn't expecting it so soon. This is going to be an outdoor grow, I'm just starting them inside. Was planning on moving them to their permanent home in the next few days. They seem a little small to me for almost 3 weeks, so hopefully they take off once they hit the sun. Any suggestions would be great.

here, make a drying box, basically a tub with racks and a 4 inch inline fan. pump all of the exhaust back into the tent with the filter.
Haha thanks man, obviously I didn't think of that! I could easily just take the PC grow box and stick it next to the tent so it exhausts into one of the air intakes or cord ports in the tent!

Well when I first noticed it about a week ago I freaked out and lightly fed them. All I had was Schultz 15-30-15 all purpose plant food so I mixed it about 1/4 strength and very lightly fed. Since then the Botanicare I ordered arrived but I haven't used it yet. I really don't think it is N deficiency though, since it appeared when they were only about 2 weeks old. I'm not sure what to think. I'm using filtered tap water which I let sit for at least a day so my water should be good. I'm using MG potting mix since that's all I have access to, but I thoroughly sifted through it and picked out all those little pellets. My temp is a steady 72 degrees and my rh is usually around 50% so the only other thing I can think of is soil pH. This soil has a lot of peat moss, so I'm thinking it may be a little on the acidic side, but I don't have a tester. I know there are so many things that can cause yellowing of lower leaves, but is low pH one of them? Like I said, I'm moving them outdoors soon, so hopefully this clears up when I transplant them. I have 2x2 holes dug and filled with the MG organic garden soil mixed with about 30% perlite, which still isn't the best but is probably better than the potting mix.

Hope you guys can help. I'm looking for bigger yields. I'm getting about 1/2 oz a plant. I was looking into some advance nutes and was thinkg on picking up Vooddo Juice but if there is another out there I can buy for bigger and better buds I would rather go that that. I've also seen a medical grow where the flowering plants had nothing but top buds for the most part and they look large. would I getting bigger plants with smarter trimming? Right now I'm using a mix or organic grow nutes. A mix of Grow, Bloom, and growth Stimulator along with blackstrap molasses. I have one 600w hps. I have no co2 setup and my humidity is low, from 30% to 60%. My room drops 10 degrees at night. I have 8 plants under the light at any givin time but would like to increase that. My Ceiling is almost 6 feet. I'm growing AK-47, white widow, bubble gum, purple kush. Just the AK-47 in flower now. also I'm having power problems that don't seem to make any sence. Plugs and lights are going off in my kitchen, half my bedroom and half my living room. The brackers arn't being triped and it's not affecting the other two bedrooms, halls, bathroom or basement/ growroom. It seems to happen at night more then any other time. It almost seems at time like there isn't enought power coming into the house. but not really sure. Don't really want to call the power company.

hmm what media do you use, veg time, any stresses, nutes, flowering times. there are so many variables to account for to rule out to why you are getting a low yield. answer some of those and we will see what we can do :-)
