so you meant thermometer and hygrometer to measure temps & humidity

and yes CMH (Ceramic Metal Halide) is the bomb
I found some results about CMH. It seems good! But is this good for small cabinet? How difficult is to keep good temperatures/humidity with a CMH, and how many watts? keep in mind: low budget, low heat, just as simply as it can.

Thank you

just got them precut and no just put em in cubes yesterday. but the pictures are from right after putting in cubes
Did u pre-soak ur cubes?! Rockwool must be soaked in pH 5.0 water for 24 hours
A heat mat and a air temps thermostatically controlled will put u on the path to high success rates cloning in RW.. Keep ur heat mat at 86 and air temps 80

9 days since put into 12/12 still no signs of sex.

If i have lights leadks how bad could it be ?
Light leaks will ruin ur life! Period! That's how bad they are.. U need to find them and patch them.

Ur plants really should show some preflowers in 7 days under 12/12..
If u think uve fixed everything, give it a little longer

Ull wanna change that water out, which u should be doing every 2 weeks.. When u do just sit the lid with plants in an empty tote, they'll be fine..
Riddleme advocates sticking with veg nutes during the first 2 weeks while the plants changeover..

So I gave these plants their last bunch of nutes on the April 19th, and have since been giving them molasses with every watering (every 3 days). My question is this: Are any of these plants too far gone (lost too many leaves, too much yellowing) to get them back on nutes and hope they fatten up? The one that is sideways looks good and done, but the other 2 look a few weeks behind. The 2 plants growing vertically, other than the yellowing, appear to have not fattened up at all in the last 3 weeks (so might they even grow anymore at all if I keep feeding them?)?

These first 3 pictures are from 5 days ago, so the yellowing has gotten worse (except on the purple one, the leaves turned purple awhile ago and only a handful (not much) has fallen off since I stopped feeding even though it doesn't seem to have grown or bulked up in the last couple weeks either)

These next 3 are from today when I was trying to illustrate in another thread that they don't seem to be filled out or actually look like bud (they look more like a fairly tight grouping of leaves that would normally have their edges trimmed off the real bud)

The yellowing is a little worse than these pictures would have you believe, basically all the leaves without any trichomes on them are almost all yellow, with a little bit of green up the middle. Well on the smallest plant yellow leaves don't have any green left on them, although they aren't dried out (kinda silky soft actually)

U should change ur water out EVERY 2 weeks, to stave off root rot and to provide new fresh nutes..
The plants use the nute components in varying amounts so they must be replaced totally to prevent o'dosing or deficiencies..
Only flush if u have a problem
Organic nutes are fine, although u can't use h2o2 with organic nutes so make sure u keep ur res temps down
I don't know if ur lights are enough, i havnt seen ur set-up nut the more the merrier u know..

Yeh give them a lil rest after topping if u want but I wouldn't be too worried, they take 2 weeks to flip anyways

Hey ZZ, Just be patient, it can take up to 2 weeks. If the light leaks have been there since the beginning than I don't believe you should have a problem with them. Its when you change something up and cause them to stress is when you begin to have probs. If you take a look at Riddles Goin Loco thread, you will see he flowered his girl in the living room with a sun reflector around it. Just my opinion though.

Peace Big

to give you a better idea, here is a pic of someone actually touching a 250 watt CMH bulb while it is on, they are low heat compared to others, but bulb and ballast will cost ya $200

Yeah I'm not a believer in the whole light leaks thing, I've always had light leaks and never had a hermie

All you can do at this point is feed em a dose of veg nutes and see what they do

I will never understand why people stop feedin em and let em die towards the end

The whole I don't wanna smoke chemicals is bullshit plant converts the nutes to other things same way we do

Well they stopped growing a little before their last feeding and they didn't grow at all after their last feeding. So I figure now it might be too late and they are just done with life and hadn't planned on growing anymore weeks ago (why did they just stop for 3-4 weeks? is that ever normal?). I have the Fox Farm 3 (grow big 6-4-4, tiger bloom 2-8-4, and big bloom .01-.3-.7), is there any particular reason why you recommend veg nutes (which would be grow big)? Fox Farm says not to use grow big after the 4th week of flowering.

Streetgal what is that you were saying about molasses? I don't understand what you said. Hang 5?

PS: this is day 1 of week 10 of 12/12 so they got all their nutes like normal until day 4 of week 8

You could have root problems, you could have lockouts caused by too much of something, there are lots of things that can cause slowed or stopped growth

and I feed till the day I chop, I also keep em green and healthy and don't let em die and I feed veg nutes every 3rd feeding during flower to do this,

Amazes me that every one wants bigger nugs but then grows in a way that stunts them???

and SL was tellingyou to hang for 5 minutes till I answered you cause he does not use molasses

Oh. Well I wasn't sure if there was any kind of problem because they seemed happy, the leaves weren't doing anything funny, I didn't see any obvious signs of problems like I kept getting during veg. I didn't even realize they weren't really growing until they started to yellow from the lack of nutes. I thought, well maybe its just the strain, maybe it would have growth spurts every few weeks and that it might just take 12 weeks or more to flower. I suppose I will give the vertical growing plants nutes and see if they can't recover at all.

Can yellow leaves still be of any use? On the smallest plant all the leaves without trichomes are solid yellow and kinda soft (or at least none of them feel dead and dry), but the leaves with trichomes are still good and green (although I think they are starting to turn purple around the edges of the 1/2 of leaf blade furthest from the stem).

On the 2nd tallest plant the trichome free leaves are all yellow, but maybe 1/2 of them still have some green up the middle of each finger.
