So how am i doing?

The female is still really just drinking water, nutrient levels have stayed about the same, ive been adding distilled water every couple of days. I bought a hand siphon so i can empty the res, I bought that flushing solution and am going to use that. I have been needing to change the res but completely zoned on the idea of how to drain it. DOH wonder if a drain kit from bubbleponics work as a drain?

A siphon and a 5 gallon bucket is all i need thankfully to flush the system. I am going to make 5 gallons of ro/di water 0ppm tomorrow. I think its too early for the final flush so I'll do a mini flush with the flushing solution. and mix up another jug of nutrients, i already made the distilled water for that. I keep one gallon on hand at all times. I am mixing my solution at the bloom range 1200 ppm.
 
sure lookin good man, she really fills that cabinet up, LoL. im smoking up some of my girl right now. did you find a board yet?
 
hell no, haven't found one yet but still searching. I know right, I was thinking earlier that i would have been screwed if i grew more of these. Im out of room so this is the largest the cabinet is gonna get for a while. With no LST at all she really has filled up the cabinet. Its hers so she can have it as long as i get some cool buds later.

How is your smoke?
 
bro, the smoke is dark and deep, it makes my eyelids real heavy and just sets me back to not wanna do shit, LoL. and it makes me smile too. that sucks about the board, cant you fine anything wood to use? a little piece of plywood, a small sign stick, something? hell, i'll send you a piece i have sittin here, LoL.

man, i wanted to grow 2 or 3 in my box, dont think they'll fit, maybe if i dont lst, just top and let them grow up. i fixin to start a couple more seeds in hopes of gettin another female, so if its just 1 again, thats fine.

oh and also, it feels heavy, as in theres more gravity pullin me down or something, LMAO.

thanks, im very happy with it. drying and curing? i know the right way to do it, but all i did was hang it in my smaller veg u-haul box for 2 days and today it was dry, just border line, and i smoke it just now and im stoned as hell off 3 small hits. when i cut the main tops, ill it for a few days and test it, if its good like this, or better, i might cure most of it in a couple jars, ive never made it this far, LoL. but ive never done it. did i give you that page on drying and curing? oh and go check out kings video he just put on his thread.
 
cool, i just wanted the method you used. I will do similar with a box and string. Im just getting ants in the pants wanting to do things right.
 
yes, hangin on a string in the box, it has 2 80mm fans sucking air in from a 4 x 6 slot cut on the other side, so good passive air blowing across, i know they were small buds, but they dried out pretty quick. sure the big ones will take longer.
 
Thinking of ventilation, i may hang the buds in my cabinet and just remove the light reflector and clip on fan. This would give me a vented space to dry and i can still keep stealth. i can better control the RH in the cabinet and any smells would also be contained.
 
Hey JP, Could you recount your grow up to now as far as veg time in light schedule and days, and then days and light schedule in flower? I got my short riders today, but I am only in my 22nd day of 12/12 with my bagseed, so trying to plan and decide what to do next grow, short riders or something else...

By the way your rider looks kikass!
 
I vegged mine with 6500k lights until it was 6 inches tall, then i switched to 2700k lights and am still using them.
For this grow, i wanted to induce flowering as quickly as possible because of height issues. So i did 12/12 for 14 days until she presented her sex. i dont know if 12/12 was necessary since its an auto but i took no chances since i heard so much smack about short riders not being true autos.

I am growing mine at 24/0 right now, but as soon as i get a replacement timer i will go back to 20/4. Shes been flowering for 23 days now and growing for 64 days total.
 
Hi JP, do you have any little microscope? Because you are flushing really soon man... mine have 38 flowering days and she have more 10 to grow... yours are in 28 flowering days, I think is too soon man. See the trichoms, you know if they are ready for the trichoms color. Thast's why yours have so many piltols and mine not... at day 22 my lady has started flowering yours only at days 41...
 
Yes i have a scope and the trics are milky. Ok i will just simply do a res change and get fresh water and nutrients in there. i really appreciate the help. I will put off the flushing for a while until i see amber.
 
my baby only have some traces of amber, but get more info from ppl who have more experience then me... but i really think thats too soon, cuz autos have 70 or 75 days from seed to harvest but in the optimal conditions, i have some short riders outdoor about a 1 1/2 month and they into flowering stage yesterday... so what matters is the flowering time and the trichs color...
 
I agree, it's way to early to do a final flush. Thanks for pointing that out. I have to allow more time since my temps are higher. The reason i was going to do the flush is i have 63 days in and thought i had to run pure water for two weeks.

Now that i look at the plant more closely thanks to you, i see indeed its too early by tric's colors. I will make up 3 gallons of ro/di water and a fresh gallon of nutrients today for a res change. I haven't done one yet and need to.
