Left Lights Off...Help

Hey guys, Today is day 38 veg for my first grow although I don't want to flower until two months. I forgot to shut my lights off before I left for work today and instead of being off for 6 hours they were off for 13 hours...Should I flower now or is it ok to go back to veg. I don't want to stress my plants at all...Thanks.

You can go back into veg if you don't want to flower yet. A little extra dark for only one night shouldn't affect it much.

Also grab a light timer so you don't have to worry about forgetting again!

good call... a timer will make sure ur lights go off and come on @ same time every day... and the extra dark wont hurt... just dont make a habit of it!

They will be fine, even if u did stress them, it would be 2 mild for u to probley even tell, so I wouldn't worrie, happy growing

A lot of people veg at 18 hours on / 6 hours off instead of 24/0. I'll let you do your own research into which you think is better.

you're vegetating, so you're fine to give it as much fuckin' light as you want, don't worry about it, up to 24 hours a day they can take.

why not more than 24 hours jeezus. I believe that they need some sleep. Plants never recieve straight light in nature and I've heard reports that they do not use the light for an undetermined time if it's set for 24 hours anyways. So I say let them sleep for 6 hours during veg, dark time is healthy....IMO

lol, i always hear tat any more than 18 is pointless. n it makes sense tat if the lights are on all the time, it will focus on foliage growth n the root system will suffer... all for goin 28/-4 tho

Exactly. I observe that six hrs dark recharges them, and vigorous growth occurs during that dark period, plus they preflower when they're ready (from seed), I've never understood why people go 24/0, you gain so little.
