oh yea man, i always do. shit i pull the plants out of the cabs and sterilize everything with bleachwater periodically. kinda why im digging the SOG so much, it makes keeping things clean alot easier vs. growing trees, its no big deal at all to move a bunch of little plants that dont weigh 3 lbs pot and all, vs a 10lb tree in a 10gal pot.
i just took the pics right at lights on, b4 i did any gardening.
so right now i have 4 a/b's 3 pure, and 1 local sog plant, been hanging for a week or so. its been real humid and rainy so there drying slow. gets on my nerves because im an impatient mofo, lol, but its not a bad thing because it gives more time for the clorophyl to get gone
just got to watch out for mold.theres 8 local yocal's in the cab right now as well, im letting them run long, just to see what happens. they were ready to harvest 3 days ago. last night when i checked on em i noticed there was some foxtailing going on, which surprised me, because the local yocal is really indica dom, like 85% indica. very interesting.

Aside from the grow it sounds like you got an awesome ride. I thought I would share a story with ya.
Back in the day (late 70's) I had a 69 Buick Wildcat with a 430 in it. On the way home from a party I was on the freeway and a friend of mine was driving next to me and through it in neutral at about 65 mph and revved his engine. Well thats all it took, soon we were flying down the freeway at about 110 passing cars like they were standing still. we went several miles then I saw a cop pulling on to the freeway, lights flashing, siren blazing. Then the next on ramp I see two more. So now we got three behind us, we go for another couple miles and my bud takes an off ramp. I keep going LOL I'm gonna out run these fuckers. Im doing about 130 mph and this asshole in front of me decides he is gonna slow me down and blocks my lane. I hit the breaks, downshift this automatic by dropping it in low, slows me to about 90, I hit the dirt on the inside of the freeway, throw it in drive and punch it. I made it around them and kept going. Im gonna make it!
Knock knock knock knock, I guess not. I didnt see the steam cause I was going so fast, I blew a head gasket and had to shut her down. At least 10 cops were all over my ass. They had me on the ground handcuffed and searched the car, This one cop asked me wheres the guns! I say, I dont have any. He says, why didnt you stop? Why did you do it? I said For the hell of it. They didnt like that to much.
Funny thing was, I had about 6 eights of weed in a bag stuffed under the dash and they didnt find it. It was still there when I got the car back.

what a complex smoke...lol.
i have a sophisticated pallet when it comes to weed smoke... i always seem to taste things that most people miss, but here's my take on The Pure-
in the jar, it really has a sweet smell with a hint of spice, and just the barest hint of skunk. smells more like thai then skunk, imho
on the inhale- extraordinarily sweet, with a hint of fruit; an old head that used to grow pounds and pounds a month back in the early 80's said:
literally, word for word.
on the exhale- still a little sweet, but more of a fruity taste, almost grape, then after you fully exhale you get a hint of grapey skunk... if that makes any sense, lol. the smoke is extremely pungent and prolific; the smell can linger for hours in a room afterwords where you've smoked it...
i like it. its not the best ive had or grown, but if your looking for that sweet old school taste with an upbeat, giggily, munchy high, the pure is where its at. good smoke for work, as the buzz is super clean, and as long as your doing something, you dont get the slightest burnout or couchlock at all.
just dont try and stash a joint of it in your cig pack or something whilst your running around your job... be warned, it stinks!
ive smoked prolly an oz of the pure, ive been saving the aurora b till, well, this morning, and as im typing this im about to crack the seal on a jar of it and give it a go.
i have high hopes for the aurora b, as it seemed to be a bit stronger than the pure when i was sampling during harvest a cpl of weeks ago.

times like these make me wish i was in a legal state, so i could share some of this bounty with you guys, and by saying you guys i mean people that understand what goes into some quality smoke.
most of the people around here, they dont care about weed... its just a plant they smoke to get stoned. most of em dont even know what indica is, and the ones that do couldnt tell you the difference between one and a sativa. if i was into selling this shit, i could prolly make a million just regrowing mexican bagseeds and charging 200 a quarter for it. they'd line up for days

i harvested the local yokel awhile back... tis been drying for 11 days now. i dipped into the middle of some of the colas... just for 'samples' sake
this was the best bud, it was about 14-16" long before i ah.. sampled it
here is one of her sisters, unsampled. just wasnt as tall
some pre trim porn-
i have 2 8ball kush, 1 sensi star, 1 local yokel, 2 the pure 2 aurora b, all fem'd rooting now.
next run will be 5 vanilla kush, and 5 LSD, both barney's farm.
time to start running the cab, perpetual style. i ran 2 grows, side by side, just to get it dialed in, now i am going to start running it in stages, as originally planned.
the idea is to stagger harvests. in stage one, the upper deck, clones and seedlings will get there first taste of 12/12 via a 250w mh. after they get through the pre-flower phase and start budding/stretching, they go into the lower deck, and a fresh batch goes into the upper. meanwhile, in the lower, the stretch is slowed to a crawl because of the 400w mh
a few weeks of bud development, and then they go into cab 2, and the next batch of teenage ladies comes down from stage 1...
in cab 2, they finish out the flower cycle under a 400w CMH, and 2 43w 2700k cfls.
all my old clone material is junk from before the move, and i gave away the 72 site cloner i had because it was just too bulky.. i only really need 10-12 clones at a time, so yest i went to wally world and bought the ingredients for a 40$ bubble cloner.

the biggest airpump they had, a tetra whisper 60
a 16" x 8" x 6" rubbermaid/tupperware thingamadooger
now im off to build a bubbler....

im excited to get it cranked up. its roughly 10 weeks from seeds being soaked to harvest. not too shabby for soil at all.
i think the bottom up/flooded tray style watering/feeding really speeds things up, more than expected. i figured 12 weeks. i probably could have ran 12 weeks but i like to avoid couchlock, lol.
tonite, i mixed up another batch of my soil, and planted the 8 seedlings. i did something a little different this time, partly because the starter tray on my propigator finally shit the bed. cracked. shitty plastic... oh well, the rez and the spreader mat are still good so what i did was get some jiffy starter pucks, swelled em up, and then put them on top of the spreader mat. it worked out pretty good. i then over filled my 6" pots, and made a little 'volcano' shape, and stuck the puck in the middle of it. the seedlings all had roots coming out of the bottom of the pucks (some even on the upper sides) so i imagine they will take to it rather nicely. bout to go flood the trays for the first time, with some ph'd water dosed up with some superthrive.
i want to go start the vanilla kush and LSD soaking but it will fuck up my sched..... maybe not tho. the LSD is supposedly sativa dom, so it might be to my advantage to start them earlier than planned... the worst that can happen is i will have to harvest 4 vanilla kush a little earlier than expected.... no big loss there! and it is also supposedly strong with the sativa blood... so yes, after typing this, i thinks thats what i will do. get them soaked and started by 2 morrow night.

for now ill keep updating this one untill im completely setup.
ill type up a smoke report on the a/b in a week or 2, i think it needs a longer cure, but what i sampled was pretty nice, similar to the pure, but smoother, and more citrus flavor rather than the grape of the skunk, more of a trippy stone rather than the heavier indica feel of the pure. the gf loves it, says its the best shes ever had, but she is a novice lol
the 8ball, the LSD, the 'Nilla kush, the sensi, the local, are all fem'd.
started the 8ball, sensi, local, pure, and a/b about a week ago. they spent the first day in there pots sat. after they get over transplant ill put up some pics...lol figured seedlings are boring to look at it
after awhile anyways.
i soaked the lsd and vk sun night, and planted them in the propagator yest, i expect them to run a bit longer than the current grow, so i started them 2 weeks early.
