because if you top during flower ur wasting time and effort, because the plant is going to be under stress when it could be building buds it has to recorver from the topping. always top in veg stage. let it grow like 6 or seven nodes, then top at the second.. reson you let it grow 6 or 7 nodes is so the plant developes a big and healty root system before it goes into shock. then it recovers xtreamly fast. i topped 5 plant during veg and only 1 was a female. I was to scared to top my WW since i didnt know how it would react. but its definitly worth it. i regret not topping at least one.

i wouldnt. then ur wasting time going into flower. i got all this info from " Uncle Bens Topping for 4 Colas" search it up on the forums. if you cant find it google it, and it will take u to the forum.

well to each his own I guess, I top in veg and in flower if need be. Do whatever works for you but that video doesn't lie man and neither do the countless pics I have in my journal. Does topping cause stress, sure it does. Is it better to do it in veg, depends on the situation.
Is it a "waste of time and effort"?? I would say no its not a waste.

I'm a little nervous about doing anything to my girls at this point just getting a succesful grow under my wing is what im concerned about mostly but the topping technique is definitely something i will be employing in the future.

I didnt say topping was a waste and time and effort. if u look back i posted pics of my topped plant. ITS A WASTE OF TIME IF YOU DO IT IN FLOWER. you want your plants to produve maximimun amount of bud. If you top at flower you wont get the full potential of your plant.... post some pics

just posted 50 new pics in my journal, seems you missed where I said I have countless pics in my journal in the above post. These new Pics of my ebb and flow table with one topped clone and one un topped clone now 6 weeks and 2 days into 12/12 cycle. I also took special pics of the "pairs" aka topped in flower with other main "tops" right next to them, then I took pics to see if people can pick the "pairs" out of a crowd. Then I took pics to show I actually do this, My bubba kush was set up for six main colas, yesterday I topped two of those tops, its in week 2 day 2 of 12/12. Let me know if you need more.

ok ok ok guys easy hahahaha Youre both right......anyways I did decide to not top them since I was dealing with the bug problem. However I did top my WW and I think I fucked it up hahahaha. I will post a pic tonight after I get done studying.....

Looking 4ward 2 the WW pics. I was an inch away from ordering those but I got Master Kush instead. Def. gonna be on top of the next order.

Well Ive actually been having trouble with them......I only got one out of 3 to sprout.....Fem WW form Nirvana. Emailed them and told them and nothing. But anyways.... I got like 2 left and I got some from Attitude that I ordered like a week ago so when they get here (if they do haha) I am going to germ all them together and rock it out.. So with seeing everybody elses plant MINE LOOK LIKE SHIT!!!!!!! I was very happy with them at first but now I am just ashamed of them haha. I am not sure really what I did wrong with the OG but I know they stretched or something!!! I have huge spacing between my nodes and I have just some bushiness. They are 25-30inches tall right now and are smelling pretty nice but I only vegged them for 4 weeks before I had to put them in flowering because they were sooo tall. I had the light as close as I could which was about 19 inches away from the top of the tallest and which was about 22 inches away from the smallest.....but ehh what can I do now right??

OK so I got a couple pics of the white widow, so I bet this is a dumb question but here goes. When you top, the part where you cut rigth by the node there are little off shoots coming right from the node right below it......are those what become the two main colas because I think I fucked it up........ I know you can really tell from the pics and I know I keep saying Im getting a new cord but I keep forgetting until I need to download a pic so sorry hehe

Relax, if it grows 1 gram its one gram YOU GREW! And that gram will be wonderful buddy. Let me finish cleaning this grinder and roll a spliff or two then we can wax poetic about some plant shit
