Help me please i cant cool my grow tent it has a 400 watt mh in it a the min for vegging but i can get the temp below 92f i got a fresh air in take and an carbon filltred exaust above it removing air and a fan in there for air movment all the vents are open and its over 2 feet above the plant yet it keeps burning it any i dears??

can i raise the humidity in my room by putting a bucket of water in it?

yes, all depends on room size. a bowl or pot with warm (or better yet HOT) water will raise the humidity. I wouldn't worry about low humidity, (unless you are trying to do clones), it will get higher the larger your plants get and the more moisture they transpire and hold.

1 of 2 options. get a vented light hood that is exhuasted out of the area (not just out of the room but the house, building); or make your room temp that you are supplying the the intake air from colder via a/c.
...or get a smaller light w/ less heat output (if unable to change the ventilation setup).

3-1-2 (aka 12-4- or anything similar (higher in N and lower in Phosphate) will suffice while in vegatative state. You swap those when you go into flowing (i.e. 1-3-2), but keep up the nitrogen a few weeks after the transition to minimize leaf yellowing/ loss.

with just h20, no. You dont want to over do it though. you will want to refrain during the mid and later flowering periods as it adds to the risk of mold, etc. If you have good humidity control then you should be ok, but don't hold me to that.

If you are foliar feeding (misting w/ fertilizers) then it depends on the ppm. When i do foliar feed its usually about 1/4 strength of that i pour to the roots. Ive still gotten burn from being over zealous with the spray.

Any substance sprayed on the leaf, even just h2o will be phytotoxic
if he leaf surface temp is above 68 degrees, so you want to have your
main lights off for atleast an hour while the leaves dry.

Aloha, thanks for offering to help... I have AK in the flush phase... just finished 7th week of flowering. I know I need to flush for 7-10 days, but can't remember how often... I'm using Clearex with tap water and so far have flushed twice, with a day inbetween. Should I continue with the every other day pattern?

Another question: A couple of my girls seemed to have ripened early -- they're covered in orange hairs and the colas feel dry on the surface. I've moved them out from under direct light (1000 hps,) and am just hoping they'll hang in there until flushing is finished!

ok im back,,ive got 2 of my plants in 25litre pots!how much do i need to be watering them,ive just gone in to flowering yesterday,ive been watering them with 1 and half litre of feed a day when the light comes on..im not sure if im watering enough because my pots are that big..just wondered if anyone knows how many litre i should be feeding them,there about 21" tall and bushy..thanks

hi.. my plants have stoped growing they only 3 weeks old and about 2 foot high i give them 4ml of nutrients to each liter of water my room is 120x 120 x 120 and there is 3 plants in there my temp is at 70 so do u know what it could be .. thanks

Sorry I'm a keep em green grower, I flush everytime I water and I feed to the end so someone else will have to help ya

you should be watering for "PLENTY" of run off, in a 25 litre pot I would be watering with 50 litres

i dont really need help but iView attachment 952213 have a big bucket and i threw a bunch of reggies seeds in it just to see what would happen and they have been outside since seed. i water it every day and its been 10days now and 10 of them sprouted and look like they are gonna grow they are all 2inches tall with the first sent of pot leaves (the leaves that grow after the 2tear drop tears) if i keep them outside and jus water them once a day will it just grow and bud by itself?

10 in one contaner wont work because the roots are gunna fight for space. if i was you i would transplant a couple of them (the healthy looking ones) into seprate containers.

i no that 50-60% humidity is ideal but i cant get them to that its at about 44% while in the mean time my temp is reaching 87 so i was wonderin if i should flip my ac to cool to lower the temp but it wil also lower my humdity to about 35%....should i keeep it where it is 44%humidity and 87 temp or 35%humidity and about 78 temp

iv seen this tried a couple times, and succeed once. you will most likely get 1 or 2 dominant plants that strangle out the rest of em. but yes when the days get shorter ( will happen depending on where you live) the plants that are left will flower naturally.

you cant really guess that but if it doesnt sprout after about 7 days its dead.

i would give it atleast 10 days. i had one sprout 15 days after planting. genetics,genetics,genetics.....
