a dozen and a half does translate to about 60 when it comes time for the press release...
when i was in the coast guard the DEA would always double our catch numbers for the press... still was a shit load of coke though...
it is kind of wierd that this guy just vanished...
im hoping now that he was getting ready to sit down with a cup of coffee and type that the car was just some wierdos doing something wierd and now they are gone... when all of the sudden a knock at the door made him drop his coffee on the computer..

After reading this whole thread I feel like I've watched the first 2 parts to a 3 part mini-series!!
This story needs a conclusion - I say we give him another day to finish his own story or we start a informal contest here for best conclusion to this thread. Best written finish gets a rep piont or just the literary admiration of the board ;p
Seriously though I hope this guy is ok - didn't sound like the cops to me. But I do remember some friends way back getting robbed at gunpiont in thier own homes for a few plants in the attic. Thieves are more scary to me.
