Has any one ever considered buying an a/c unit for an R.V.? Mount it on the cabinet? Maybe could get a used one for cheap!?? I don't know? Just a thought.

Check out the last page or 2 of my grow. I posted some pic's of a peltier ac I am building for my suncast garage cabinet, similar to yours. I plan on finishing it this weekend after my vacation. I will post a pic tutorial after I'm done.

Thermoelectric Air Conditioner i saw the 200 btu unit you posted a link for, thats perfect but way out side my budget im guessing. they wont say how much it costs without a phone number.

its $800.00 US, i had them quote it for me. i dont recommend buying it at all, way to high. but they are application specific, so for their application they are great and very valuable. they are not that valuable to our application. after a few tests on mine i think i will run it at 50 watts. that dropped ambient temperature 5 degrees @ ~1inch. the ones in the link are several hundred watts, so an ac would be just as good a thought as one of them. maybe cover up your holes all together with a big sheet of something, and put new holes in better location to help the air flow. keeps you from having to block out grow space with elbows, but it demolishes more of your box... so many choices...

Ugg i do not know what to do. I'm back to square one. tons of good ideas and still feel like i am clueless about ventilation. i never considered heat, i was so worried about growing the cannabis, which turns out to be easy. Because i have to keep it so stealth, it really limits what i can do.

Where would you have the holes? could i tape up one or both and cut a new intake somewhere else?

Yeah, you could taPe up the holes, severl layers of tape though. If I had my ultimate choice of where to put ventilation holes, I would say intake at bottom and/or top of one side wall, and exhaust at top of opposite side wall. You may not be able to do that for your setup though.

2 points you probably already heard....

first, make sure your intake is bottom left and exhaust top right.( This seems to work the best apparently)

Second we found that the exhaust had to be twice the cfm of the intake in order to keep the Cabinet cool. We currently have 8 42 watt CFLS and 2 30 Watters in our canopy and stay right around the 28 degrees C at the hottest. The exhaust is an 8 inch 500 CFM fan though, so thats why our temps stay down I think.

Hmm wonder if i need to increase my exhaust like CB says. I have a 250mm fan in there right now, that's about 8 inch hole. I wonder if i could find the correct fan for my setup. would an inline fan work for me? I never have liked the fact it was a big hole but only 108 cfm.

That is exactly what we have!! Wiring? I am in Canada and it is very basic. Where you at JP? Europe...somewhere that runs non standard 110 power? If not you might need some sort of adapter to run the fan. It works awesome though and is very quiet!! It is kinda huge though JP... It sticks out of the back of our cabinet by atleast 6 inches

keep in mind JP you have a small cab. more air flow may hurt. your cab is less than 10 cubic foot, i think. so if you have a 500cfm fan running your gonna have your air exchanged 50 times a minute!! this may severely impact humidity, if i remember right. just be cautious...

That's a sweet ass fan. The thing to do now is get a speed control and since it's 110 you can use a light switch dimmer. This way if it's too loud or RH gets too low you can turn it down and dial it in perfectly to your needs. My fan is only 65 cfm. So I'm thinking if I got a bigger fan like that one maybe I could run both the 70w hps.

Yeah we mounted the fan flush to the inside of the cabinet. That way we would not have the light catch the side of it when we put it up. And as far as humidity goes, we have been fairly stable around 40% the entire time during veg and flower so far.

what the hell, its only money right, LoL. as long as it is, cant you trim some of the empty pipe off one end to make it shorter? and what you said below sounds good, just it in the hole and seal it up with the aluminum tape.
