quick question... reseasrched this and alot and couldnt find an answer... is it possible to do a 12/12 from seed scrog grow? i am growing a master kush strain that was seeded by a purple hindu kush male... i put a single dry seed in a peat pellet sun... already has its first set of true leaves...i plan on having my scrog screen about 4 inches above the container i am growing out of... also my container is square and short... with me putting my screen that height above the container, i am allowed about 6inches between lights and screen... lots of rants... is this grow possible? or should i take out the screen and resort to lst?

i have four plants in veg moving them to flowering asap. i need to know how much lighting i should use... its in about a 2 by four area. how many watts and should i use a spectrum?

70 - 100 watts per plant is good, i run 650 watts hps in a 3x4x3 space...........depends what you want from your plant

I havent had any hermies yet my last few grows since i got back into it...None during the 12/12 thing yet either..

2 grows ago i did find two seeds out of the 3 z's i got...dont know how as i never saw any male balls.

Everyone is going to get a hermie now and then at some point i figure

Me and my partner both had beans in our grows and we never saw any male flowers either. Unlike most people who will throw those beans out, we kept ours. We've now grown over forty plants from those beans and every one has come up a female.

I posted this in your thread because I'm doing a 12/12 from seed. I planned on finishing them in the half gallon grow bags I started them in but I'm going to transplant them into one gallon grow bags to finish. I'm going to cut about a third of the bottom of the half gallon bag off and plant it right into a gallon bag, giving me about a gallon and a half of soil.

thanks this cheesewreck should be a good one but compared to yours i have alot to learn how long do you have left before the chop? plus i am guessing that you have done some LST only... i would love to know how you get so much bud on a single plant like that!

heres a quick update pics are tagged so you can see whats what out of the 3 plants.

Last fed any nutrients on june 7th,
plain h2o and molasses since then.
Trichomes 80-85% cloudy.
Nice fat buds, wish i knew the strain,
or cloned her.
She'll come down on day 84 Monday june 21st.

I have to hand it to you two fellas : Gooner and Probo...those ladies are scrum diddly umptious! I have two BCBudDepot "The Purps" ladies grown 12/12 from seed that just showed sex about 4 days ago...they're only about 5 inches tall (still kinda seedling looking if you know what i mean). Healthy, in one gallon containers with Organic potting mix, under my 400 watt'r Hps. Should I expect these plants to reach tall heights? (Height isnt an issue for me). But I would like to know if I can expect the plants to reach the height of yours pictured before me.

I'm in the office so I dont have any pics...i'll get them up later today. Also, about how many weeks from showing sex should I expect to continue growing until done? Roughly...

Well, without lst she'd a been 18"-20" tall,
I had her lstd to about 14".
The buds are so heavy now though,
everythings leaning over so she's even
shorter than that.
I've got buds tied together and propped up
using some small paperclips as support.

Thanks jonboy - the above plant was grown in a
1 gallon pot also. Not sure of the strain, but as i said
probably would of only been 18"-20" tall.
I always lst my girls because i only have a 250w hps,
and i like to get all the weight i can per plant.
The more i think about short/no veg with a small hps,
the more sense it makes to me to start rooted clones
straight to 12/12.
I currently have a strawberry cough clone i topped 3 times
in veg and supercropped in a 3 gallon pot. She's not quite
a week into showing pistils, but takes up most of the light.
Fortunately i threw a purps cutting i had just rooted into
flower a few weeks before, but i can grow no more than
3 plants with that monster s.c in the flower room.
The 12/12 grew mostof her life alone,
and had all the light to herself.
I think the purps is an 8 or 9 week flowering?
I've got a purps clone going myself,
she's already covered in trichomes at 2 weeks female!
