Basically because the plant CANNOT draw up the complex sugar molecule, but rather the "microherd" does eat the sugars and shits and pees the chemicals the plants need when the herd consumes these molasses sugars. So the molasses would not and can NOT affect the sugar content levels. Do a lil botanical research and you will see he is dead on and the sugar content of the plant does tell you instantly what is going on as long as you know the percent for the species. It is not just for grapes as sugar is the energy that most if not all plants use to do EVERYTHING which is produced by the leaves. So heavy foliage, leaves, produce sugar which the plant uses to build buds and when the sugar drops buds are finished being built therefore optimum harvest window, get it?it measures the content of the fruit because sugars are need to turn grape juice into wine. it's not much about "plant ripeness" as it is "fruit sugar content". there is a difference. we want THC ripeness not sugars. you need something that measures THC levels, not sugar levels. we seek THC, wine makers seek sugar. 2 completely different things.
a lot of people flush using sugars. how can you see a drop in sugar levels of you are pumping your plant full of molasses?
