First I did Google and used the search engine on this site...
And got a zillion " Yes you can." and a zillion "No you shouldn't"
This has nothing to do with FF..just dust.
I live in a very dry climate ( Colorado) and even with a cool mist humidifier right next to the plant I can barely keep it at 30.
The only time in Colorado will you ever see humidity above 40 is if it rains ( or snows)..it can get so dry here even the snow won't fall..it just hangs in the air.
I try and keep good housekeeping around my grow area..vacuum every day, clean light fixtures, fans and Mylar on regular basis...but I know that there is going to be dust settling on the plant.
I misted regularly during veg..no problems there.
And I'm not talking about misting everyday...just once every couple of weeks to clean it off...
I would do this after the lights go off and let the fans dry it off ( I can have 3 oscillating fans blowing the plant from all sides to dry it ) And as dry as it is here that wouldn't take long.
My neighbor swears by it ( He grows some awesome Purple Kush ) and he mists all the way up to harvest...
So if there any dry climate growers on these forums...I would appreciate input.
If I knew any dust or what have you would settle just on the leaves I could care less...but the buds are crystal city and sticky as all get out.
I have a month to go...
My last crop was fine without misting ..I guess...tasted good and got you baked.
But I'm kinda anal and want perfection this time...
So don't take this the wrong way when I ask for responses primarily from people who grow or grew in dry arid areas...
Peace...
