Right on man, thanks for stopping by. The prozyme is a good quality product, no doubt. I'm trying to find out how necessary everything is and starting with the most basic, but high quality, is a good beginning. I always used the entire line so I don't know how much difference each product makes.

If you get a chance read Riddleme's thread called Nutes on A Budget (he's posted on this thread and there is a link in his signature). That's what got me on the Jacks and Makin it Rain !
ya! that is crazy! i guess there's a dealer not to far away, i think i'm gonna have to chek out some jacks soon! love what your doin man!!!!! respect!!

Quick update guys. The Mango grew a little over 2 inches since wednesday, and that was after the 'rain' today they got Jacks again and I topped them after the pictures as well.
Its crazy how they get that growth spurt after it rains. That group shot of the kids looks awesome on the floor like that. Thanks for the up-dates.

Peace

Big

This is from the Jacks Classic grow guide on tomatoes:

• You may want to add about a teaspoon of Epsom salts to your applications of 20-20-20 to provide some additional Magnesium to the plants nutritional regimen. Magnesium is part of the chlorophyll molecule and obviously very important in the process of photosynthesis.

So I think you are right in wanting to supplement there, but in keeping it simple and cheap, you might want to consider the epsom salts, dirt or shall I say salt cheap?

I think superthrive has a place in rooting clones and transplants but beyond that, I don't think it has a noticeable effect. If you really like it, maybe use it as a foliar feed?

I haven't decided on using molasses or a sugar supplement, probably not the first run, so I'll have something to compare it to.

I believe in the silica supplement wholeheartedly, especially since I plan to make these branches Heavy with big buds, I think the silican blast is like 50% or more silica? But it's freakin expensive too. I'm thinking about the Dyna gro protekt, but it's only like 7%, I believe but cheap? I think I'll start with the cheap and then if I do decide on the expensive, I will have a reference to decide if it's worth the extra dough or not.

I am also going to supplement with dyna gros 'Grow' formula for the extra micros, if and when needed. Maybe every 3rd or 4th time they get nutes. I noticed that Riddleme did this with Matilda.
I agree, superthrive has its place in cloning, rooting and early veg. But after that I see no need for it. Unless for some reason you have a very stressed plant. Then a couple of drops in a gal water cant hurt. And I believe it really does help a stressed plant recover.

For silica I really like GH Rare Earth premixed in my medium. It also works great as a top dressing.

As for as the added micros go. You all may want to look into Earth Juice Microblast. It organic, does wonderful as a foliar or drench. I use it once every three or four weeks in a light dose as a preventative. I cannot remember the last time I had a magnesium def.

Hope this helps.

First off, nice change on the avatar, it is All About The Nation Baby and I'm here behind enemy lines, in Denver !

I may run the first set without one. Or maybe do half. I have almost a full bottle of the humboldt honey es and I also have half a bottle of black strap molasses. I won't use those outdoors for bugs, so I may use them or at least experiment, I've got 8 to a set and I'm perpetual so there's room for screwing around.

These mangos will be the first set on the jacks start to finish. I've noticed all the purpling is nearly gone and the stems are thicker than the Goddess plants a full month ahead of them. Under the 250w MH they have grown a little over 2 inches since my last pictures, I think on Wednesday. Can't wait to see them hit the 400w, probably on Monday.

Trying to decide if I should update every 3-4 days or once a week for full effect? What do you guys think?

Hey are the CHEFS still playing on the Food Network? Or is the Cooking Channel?

I hate the Patriots with a Passion. Tuck Rule my ass ! They stole a Super Bowl shot and probably win from us that year. Just like the immaculate reception, just like when Floyd Little left the ball on the 1 yard line and they called it a touchdown. (Raiders would have trounced the Cowboys both of those years) Has any team been fuct more than my beloved Raidah's?

For sure, gonna need some harvest help in October, come on down for a trimming party !

Sorry, wont make it that early. We will just be finishing tomato harvest in mid October. Then its into the corn and bean fields. We usually do not get everything wrapped up until Thanksgiving. I will be heading that way soon after.

Your holdouts are going to kill you, that and suspensions. Can't stand Rivers, but he's pretty good. Chargers are the team to beat in the West. We just might surprise a few teams this year and get to .500. That's all I ask, 8-8 will make me happy.
