my neighbor just lent me a sylvania spot gro clamp lamp. he sed that he grew a six footer in his closet with the light. hes known for being a bullshitter. it has an incandescent bulb witch produces heat and i was wondering if it would be suitable for my plant and if anyone has grown with this type of light, what was the height of the plant ¿?

he may very well have gotten the poor plant to stretch and end up being 6 feet tall, i seriously doubt he got any quantity of killer buds though, maybe he likes puffing on leaves and stems?
that kind of bulb will not work out well in the end, i'd suggest getting some 26watt cfl bulbs together and give it a try that way

No, I figured it out within the first 5 minutes of research. Considering that the plants thrive under certain light spectrum and how excessive heat is no good. Why would you even consider using one of the most inefficient light bulbs ever? Especially after it's even plastered all over any kind of literature about growing MJ. So it sounds like trolling or someone who needs assistance for their brain to function.

Before you guys get too far out there with flaming this guy, many people who do not actually grow are under the impression that incandescent "plant lights" are good for your plants.
Hell, there is a lightbulb store I was in once and the people told me this was the only "plant bulb" they had; No grow systems or anything like you would expect. I knew better of course about buying this lamp but I'm sure they've sold tons of these things.

shit, there was a time i tried to grow entirely under 1 PURple "plant grow light", that poor plant got to like 3 nodes and sat there for months before it slowly began to decay and die
it said "plant grow light" on the packaging, lol
it wasn't until i started doing some reading that it dawned on me how retarded i was in my previous attempts
now it's just all kicking into high gear with my MASSIF 5g blue dream beer cup harvest

I didnt understand leds nearly enough and happened to see a 4 ft undercabinet fixture w/6 of the tiny ass leds that were like .5 watt each for 70. oh well though we all do stupid shit at some point in time, lol. That one guy did have a valid point, you should read up and make sure you understand the info and what you need, I know i regretted not doing so.

i think it was from home depot, it was like 7 years ago so i'm not certain, piece of crap though, maybe it'd help a tiny bit as supplemental lighting but i really doubt it
well it was just 1 plant of several, cuts have been made which are all at different stages in growth, it was the first plant i chopped as part of my little perpetual personal stash plan, it is all good man =)
blunts are nice, the tobacco hurts my throat the next day though, i'll usually do a shisha and herb mix in a hooka if i'm feeling like flavored tobacco. anyways, it's a week later and there is still about 2g sitting in a glass jar, another g sitting next to me which i'm enjoying a puff here and a puff there with my coffee, i can't imagine blowing through 5g in a blunt but everyone has different smoking habits so right on man, different strokes for different folks

i was kind of feeling bad that the first had such a low yield, but then i saw some pictures of autoflowers that had spit out less than 1g! holy smokes, or lack thereof!
