How to assess bubble hash in a dispensary

The best bubble hash I see in pictures has a light color, but the stuff they have at my dispensary is very dark brown and dry/cakey. How can it be so dark if it's done in bubble bags? Is it as good as the more tan color? I'm new at this.

The color/consistency is dependent on the trichomes it was made with, the condition of the trichomes, and the methods used.

I'd actually say that color/consistency isn't something you should use in judging hash. Unless: it's obviously terrible looking, or really sticky icky looking.

For what it's worth.... Light golden brown as in the color and consistancy of actual honey, is as pure as THC gets. Youtube, Google, RIU, and others. Just ask for directions to using "Butane" in the making of THC Honey and on the best approach. Watch and read away, Learn all you can at your hearts desire.
Wish you well on your doings. And hope you live through the original process, as it can be very dangerous to make good THC Honey. If you don't however make it out alive, let me know........ I could send flowers or something.
