why are my plants not growing?

i am now in week 3 of 12/12 and i am growing in a greenhouse. Since starting 12/12 my plants have not really grown in height at all. i was always told that your plants will have a massive growth spurt when you flower and they could grow double the height but so far they've grow about 6 inches. Is this normal?

Is that a private rd in the background??? if not thats really risky. They will be fine just let them grow. They do look like they may need a transplant but I dont know if you can do that in flower. You will also need to support them so they can grow big buds without breaking.

What people don't under stand is how monstrous one marijuana plants root system can get. They are probably root bound in those pots. The more roots = more yield. If there root bound it can restrict growth and eventually kill itself.

I'm a newbie and didnt really take the grow seriously so i havn't been using proper ferts. I'm in the uk so i've used a bit of miracle grow every now and then. I just added some nice compost too which should help. Can anyone recomend a good bloom fert from the uk? Is it just a fert that is high in phosphorus?

I thought those pots were quite big. should i go bigger you think?

I'm curious powegu, how do you obtain a 12/12 light cycle in a greenhouse? Is there lighting other than the sun? The massive "growth spurt" your asking about is really just a massive "stretch spurt" where the distance between the nodes increases, not necessarily where plant grows more nodes (though it will likely do this as well for the first few weeks of flowering).

I'm not completely sure but you should check and see if they are root bound. If they are you wont get the max yield from those plants.

to obtain 12/12 I just take the plants inside at 10pm and outside at 10am! Yes.... its a huge effort! but i'm hoping it will be worth it! The plants have grown more leaves up top and become more bunched but they are still bare at the bottom which isn't good. Any predictions on yield?

Being bare at the bottom is not a bad thing. It allows for more airflow. Which in the long run means less mold issues. Most people wont tell you your yield because it is very hard to predict.

I thought that growing outdoors the plants start to flower themselves. What part of the world are you in??? Where i live my outdoor plants are 1 week into flowering and coming along nicely.

No, cannabis or any other plant for that matter grows during the vegetative state. Flowering induces alittle stretch but not substantial growth.
