Does wolf piss really work?

To keep deer and other animals away? I'm planning on using neem oil for the insects cause I've heard great things about it.... but I need something for the animals too and have heard conflicting opinions about wolf urine.

If it's not effective, what is?

I really don't want to put up a wire mesh fence around the plants because they're "camoed" and that would be a dead give away.

i saw on mythbusters a while ago where they poured wolf piss on there pants to keep the police dog from attacking and biting them and it worked

sorry i am from the uk and was just wondering.. is it hard getting piss from a bear/wolf lol seriously tho can you buy this stuff were your from?

As long as you are able to insert your finger into their rectum first, they are pretty cooperative.
Seriously though, predator urine can be found in a hunting goods store, but unless something drastic has happened, you guys may not have too many of them over there. Best bet is to go to a home garden center in a hardware store and they will have deer repellant available. I bought some small disks that repel deer, and saw a motion activated sprinkler if there is running water available nearby- these items were around $20, so it won't cost you too much

It will work just don't get that neem oil or the piss on your buds come flowering time, all though you prolly wont need to protect it much come flowering time. All my outdoor zealot buddies here in colorado just use their own piss and it works wonders!

no need to go to the hunting store, human is the biggest predator in the animal kingdom. just drink alot of water on your way to the site and and mark your territory.

I use dried fox urine a few times a year... just sprinke it around the outside of the plants and no deer

lol so i just have to sneek up on them, and yea no hunting stores over here that i know of just camping and fishing shops. that motion activated sprinkler sounds good tho thanks for the help evry one that replied
