Say you were running the 0-8-16 formula, at 0.7 conversion with a 22 gallon res. When you first fill it up, your ppm will be around 1330.

Now you have been growing for a week, and some of the water has been taken up by the plants, some has evaporated, and now your res is at 947 ppm. You need to get your ppm from 947 to 1330. Here is the equation:

((target - current) / target) * 8 ml per gallon * res gallons = Flora Micro (ml) double this figure to get Flora Bloom (ml)

Example:

((1330 - 947) / 1330) * 8 * 22
(383 / 1330) * 8 * 22
0.3 * 8 * 22 = 53 ml Flora Micro

53 ml Flora Micro, double that and you get 106 ml Flora Bloom. So 53 ml Flora Micro and 106 ml Flora Bloom to add back to your 22 gallon res to get you from 947 to 1330.

this is bubba kush female that was cloned in veg...put outside....went into flowering then back into veg. she is now flowering at week 3....she only gets direct sunlight from 9:00 to 2:00 i believe this is a great technique for and outdoor crop.

she will pack alot of weight for an indica.

I am showing preflowers on the ladies, what is the optimal time to start flowering nutes? I am it is outdoors and not quite to 12 -12 yet. around 11 dark hours.

Questions about germing..

After the seeds sprout (using the wet paper towel method) I plan on putting them in rockwool cubes. Roseman said these cubes should be kept in the dark (with high temps and lots of humidity?) and CFL lights should be used after the plant pushes out of the rockwool cube. However, I've seen growers right away put CFLS under the seed even when they havn't pushed out of the rockwool cube yet.

What am i suppose to do?

When i first started growing seeds i tried the darkness method and couldn't get anything to pop. One day someone told me "didn't you know plants need light?" i thought about it. never tried that method again....if you shine it they will grow. i have also phased out the germination stages. i get a better win/loss ratio going straight to soil...small dixie cups. i then choose the plants i want to keep.

i a gang of mini slugs get at ur leaves and leave loads of holes on the leaves should u clip em off or leave em to grow :S

11 dark hours is enough to trigger flowering...I'd give a light dose (1/4 strength) at the next feeding!

The sprouts will not require light until they pop out of the soil...I would guess that the "lights on" method works better for aeviaanah because of the extra warmth that the lights supply...

At 2 months, it's not mature enough to show you sex on it's own...put it under a 12/12 light cycle and in 2 weeks or so, you should see sex...

I'd leave them be, they won't recover, but they will still provide the plant with some extra energy...

i gave darkness before they sprouted....the result: they didn't sprout.

i agree the sprouts do not require light until they pop. the seeds are underground and cant receive this light regardless. but light and heat signal them to begin their journey....

Ok the grow room is my first, it is a closet with concrete walls and tile floor. I have a LED light and plan on using soil. I am totally new so all the advice the better! i have included pictures please help!

1. Do i need ventilation? how do i do it in a closet the only way air gets in now is under the door....

4. Is there anything i am forgetting, i am planning on getting clones this week what is my next step? my light has settings for veg and flower...can i use the light once i get the clones?
