My cat drinks my nutrient water... is that ok?

IMG_0317.jpg

It's city water with added calcium, magnesium and flowering nutrients (Terra Flores). She generally doesn't drink it until it has been sitting out for 12 hours. So far, I see no ill effects.

LOL.. I wouldn't recommend it.. but once should be okay though. Let me know when she starts budding though dude

Yea, let's see those nice cat buds. It isn't a good idea for your cat to drink that stuff period. Organic or chemical.

can you say MEOW ! MEOW ! LOL Depending on the nuts you have in your water it may not be too good for the cats urinary track / bladder and liver. I would keep a screen on it so the cat doesnt get sick.. last thing you need is for you to tak your cat to the vet and the vet says were did this cat get sick... you might be putting your grow in DANGER !

LOL, come on man!?! Would you drink it? Would you serve it to a child? Apply the same answer to your pets bro hahaha!

i'm pretty sure that's poisonous. why would anyone think that's okay just because there are no visable side effects? if you accidentally stumbled upon the fact that you could tolerate drinking small amounts of mr. clean without puking, would you conclude that there must be no harm in doing so?

No words...........:dunce:

Nutrient water should not sit around, it will build micro organism's that will eat up the nutes and make them useless. You should mix the amount your going to water with and thats it or your just wasting it.

I use a flood and drain system with a reservoir that floods the table above. I mix my nutes and then change it ten days later.

With your logic my plants are only getting nutes once every 10 days. If this was the case they would have many deficiency's and would look like shit. This is not the case...

So if your not going to answer the original posters question, don't post something that is not true. You should only post information that you know to be true.

That can't be good for your kitty, and why even risk it? Like a previous poster said, put a screen over the top.

So why doesn´t that happen while it is still in the bottle??
I'm not sure if he means algae. I use a spray bottle to mist my clones with an uber weak solution of nutes. I have another spray bottle with just r/o water. The one with nutes always has a bit of algae growth after a couple of weeks. In concentrated form it's probably just too strong for algae or other critters to eat!:blsmoke:
