Update: changed lighting setup. Here it goes: 1 4 Ft Fluoro tube 34 watts (cool white), 1 70 Watt High Pressure Sodium Bulb with remote ballast, 1 23 Watt CFL (2700 K), and 1 42 Watt CFL (2700 K). That's 170 Watts total for my four Northern Light Feminized Autoflowering plants. Around 16,000 Lumens of Mixed Spectrums. This is going to have to do until I upgrade to a high wattage HPS system. It seems to do the job, my plants are short, stout, and bushy. I hope they stay that way because I am limited in space for this current grow season. I have 5 more Northern Light Autoflowering Feminized seeds left and that will be my next grow. Hopefully the NL lives up to what I have read about the strain. I did get them from Nirvana though, I have heard many positive things about Nirvana and some negative, overall I would have to say Nirvana is a pretty decent seedbank, but I am kinda leaning towards The Attitude for my next buy, way more of a selection and free seeds with every order that sounds tempting.
Hey my friend, let me ask you a question. The 70 watt MH bulb, how hot does it get? Say compared to your 43 watt cfl? Is like three times hotter, ten times hotter? Very curious. Thanks.

Hey thought I'd give you an update on NL AF. Thats what I'm growing. They took a full six weeks to veg. Didnt show white hairs (sex) until the seventh week. My two plants are now 25 and 19 inches tall. They are eight weeks old, and in their second week of flower. They will prob take about 15 weeks to finish.

Looking amazing! How did you manage to get them to start to flower so quick? The 400 W HPS?
Well I dont think 6 weeks into flower is fast. That seems to be the norm for NL AF from Nirvana. You should expect the same. I'm using three 105 watt cfls (about 20k lumes). Dont worry your 400 watt hps will give you some real nice plants, prob bigger than mine.

Nice. I think you will you need that scrog. Your plants are so close together and the NL grows soooo bushy. Not sure you have enough space my friend. I've seen two plants grown in tote and scrogged, but four might be pushing it.

Yeah, but what the heck, im going to go for it, lol. If I get that urge I maybe transplant two of them outdoors and see how that works out.

I believe it should take around 10 to 11 weeks total for Nirvana's Auto's to finish, I remember reading that these are different from Lowryder or Dwarf strains, I thought these were the same but I have heard from a lot of people on here that with Nirvana's Autoflowering Strains, you save about 3 weeks time compared to growing a regular strain, next time no more Autoflower for me, i'm just going to order photoperiod fems and 12/12 them from seed and you can do AK48 like this and finish in around 60 days. The harvest will be about the same as we will get from these Autos but in a lot less time since you can "force" them to flower instead of waiting for a maturity level before flowering.
so if i leave these under 24/7 light will it still flower in this time frame of 11 weeks or will it be better if i switch to 18/6 after 5 or 6 weeks of its veg time?

man i say 18/6 all the way through man. Oh and to Gmike im sorry but I am growing all my Feminized plants in one big container, they will have to share, or else they will get transplanted from their sisters and put in time out. trust me four plants sharing 25 gallons of space for roots, is well over enough. People have grown these in one liter bottles for christ's sake.

Hey one, what kinda nutes and soil are you using?
I am using just regular organic soil, it was cheap as hell. and I am also using all organic nutes Miracle Grow Beet Juice Molasses (8 percent Nitrogen) and the Miracle Grow Spikes that last 60 days they are 6-12-6, and thats it. These autos go light on the nutes on them, that is what I have been hearing so whatever it says on the bottle use either 1/4 to 1/8 of the reccomended strength to start off with and see how they react to the nutrient solution you give them. All Organic is the way to go bro, better tasting bud, and better yields. I can also give you some info on some stuff witch is suppose to bulk up your buds by like 15-25 percent.

Its not the root space I'd be worried about, it is how bushy NL are. My big plant is taking up every inch of two square feet right now, and it is going to get bigger. That tote is not eight square feet, not even close. The branches will sufficate each other. Dont get me wrong, I wish you luck, but I think you will regret this bro. I will take a pic just for you so you can see what I'm talking about. This is a top view of my plant. My grow room is 2 feet by 6 feet, and 7 feet high. As you can see in the pic, the leaves are touching both walls and that plant is taking up two square feet by itself. Its seven and half weeks old. It has seven and half weeks to go. Your growing w/ hps, and chances are, your plants will be bigger than mine. I hope you dont have any problems but bro I dont think that is going to be the case.

Damn, nice looking plant! I do see what you mean. Maybe I do need to transplant after all. I have some one gallon pots i could put them in, do you think that would be okay for the whole grow or should i go with 2 gallon pots?
