thats a good size room you got there.. im jealous cause im stuck in a small basement with 5.5' ceelings.. you should frame up a wall to keep your clones and veg plants separate from flower room

ya that would b some work tho. and id have to have more duct work done for ventilation and everything.. i figured id just put some mylar "blankets" from walmart up and create 3 different tents, then venting thru that window wouldnt be such a bad idea cuz it would be cold air (winters coming) cuz it will def. get hot in the "tents"

i do have a brand new flowering bulb for the 400watt MH so im thinking of getting a light mover kit and hooking up the 400watt MH 3200k bulb and the 1000watt HPS... its an option anyways.. or i can flower with the 1000watt HPS and the 400watt MH 7200k bulb. dont know if i'll go that far into experimenting but again.. options are nice

personally i like the idea of using the 1000w mh for all mom's and veg.. and use the 1000whps and 400mh for flower

if i did that:
should i use the 3200k(red/flower) bulb or the 7200k(blue/veg) bulb for the 400watt MH
i would need a light mover kit to run the 1000watt HPS with the 400watt MH still but which bulb/spectrum? ive herd both ideas.

Hmm.. well for the first few weeks of flower i would use the 7200k and then switch to the 3200k.. BUT! if your doing perpetual then thats out the door... See what works best cause there is some controversy on that issue when mixing spectrums.. i would use a fresh clone and try the 7200k for the first 60days and then start another clone switch lamp and run for another 60days... when you start the test send me the link to your journal!!!

that sounds like a good idea.. i think the first clone would do better from what ive learnt on this site, the 7200k spectrum helps with the stretch that happends when a plant flowers. and my 3200k bulb does have some blue still in it as apose to just the 1000watt HPS which is mainly yellow/orange/red. its all about the bulbs, so many to choose from when purchasing lol.. but im going to refrain from that and just ya.. use what i got and see what happends with those 2 clones. thanx for the input

the best way to trane a new mon is to wait till there is 5 or more branches then cut all but 4 from the top.. let it veg for a while and after each of those 4 branches has 3+nodes top each of those leaving 2nodes per.. this method works great for me but might be different for some? by that point the plant should be 2 months old and you can take your first clones.. older moms give way better babies tho

ok i kinda get what ur saying, i'll take some pics of 2 plants that are doing really well for that situation if i get what ur saying correctly. these 2 plants are in recyling bins full of pro-mix bx and are about a foot and a half tall with a few branches coming out on the sides. the one i have taken a few clones from by topping some of these lower branches but i havent topped the actual plant. one of them is really stinky and am hopeing it is a purple kush seed from one of my bagseeds, i only took one clone from that one which i will take pics of also, they are small clones.
what does it cost you to run one grow or a year of growing.. however u have it calculated. (i would assume u record this some way, im trying to aswell)

for everything nutes, pg&e, water and supplys, it will cost you around 1,000 per harvest.. if its a 3 month strain that is.

havent noticed that but ya i appreciate ur posts, always. thanx again.. will update with pics again soon.. nothing really will be a big change till i harvest those autogrower's, take down the 1000watt HPS, put the 1000watt MH up and get a bunch of recycle bins to transplant.. excited for this lol

hey whats the word Gibbs, i hope all is good with you.. the best time for me to flower a clone is as soon as there is enough roots to handle the intence light and nutes (aprox 2-3weeks).. but thats different for all, deppends on how tall you want them to get.. important key to remember is that plants will grow 12-24" averege after induced to 12/12..
