Here was my reply:

Hi Mr. Obbins ,
I'm afraid this is a known issue with our autoflowering seeds. Please rest assured that we're taking this matter very seriously, and that we have taken it up directly with the breeder.
Meanwhile, we've taken our autoflowerers out of stock until we can be sure that quality control is properly functioning again. I understand how frustrated and disappointed you must be, having wasted time and effort on these seeds, and I can only offer my sincerest apologies for that. At Nirvana, we take quality very seriously, which is why we've stopped selling these autoflowerers for the time being.
By way of compensation, I will send you some more seeds. You will receive the same strain you originally ordered, only I will make them ordinary feminised seeds instead of autoflowering ones.
Again, I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, and I hope you will get good results from the replacements.
Peace,

With best regards,
NIRVANA finance

Looking nice One. How old are they in that pic.

Good call on sticking it out. I will be watching your progress. Are you gonna switch them over to 12/12 now or after another few weeks of veg? Keep us posted on if you see sex/start flowering etc etc since some of us are in pretty much the same boat, your boat is just a few weeks ahead of mine.

Alice is sending me some free photoperiod (not autoflowering) feminized Northern Lights Seeds in place of the autos I ordered. At least Nirvana is an honest company. And they do make up for their mistakes.

After these problems I'm never ordering from nirvana again, first my order wasn't delivered due to god awful handwriting (took over a month to finally get them) and now this. Should these still flower if i start them out 18/6 then switch over to 12/12?

After turning on the grow lights today, I found a pleasant surprise, preflowers and tiny little white hairs :-) Just as advertised, it started flowering after about 4 weeks of veg time. As far as my other 3 plants, which are about 2 weeks younger than my first I will just have to sit and wait it out for those to see if they start to flower as well. My main advice on these autos from Nirvana (if you already purchased them, if not then don't buy them right now they are having an issue with their "breeder".) is to keep A STEADY LIGHTING SCHEDULE, EITHER 20/4 OR 18/6. (I did 18 hours light/6 hours dark). Anyways hopefully the other 3 will do like their elder sister, hopefully!

Put your AF in 12/12 as soon as you think its big enough. Dont wait even if you see preflowers or hairs. Just remember I tried to warn you. Peace.

My next grow will be 4 Northern Lights (not autoflowering this time!) and 4 AK-48 Fems. I think I am done with the auto's. From now on I will be doing 12/12 from seed to harvest so I can have a new batch roughly every 65-70 days, also might throw in some 60 Day Wonder or some DieselRyder, since they actually stay small and finish in 60-65 days from seed to finish, unlike Nirvana's selection of "autoflowering strains". What do you guys think?

Well, if you turn on 12/12 now, you NL Af and lowryders will finish at the same time. I will be growing the White Widow and AK 48 for next grow. Definitly would like someone else to grow it too so we can compare notes and troubleshoot the grow.

Mine smell great, They are all looking good. Nirvana still sent me some regular photoperiod Northern Light Fem seeds though, because some people were having trouble with their autoflowering cannibus plants that they bought from Nirvana, from now on for autoflowering plants, if I buy anymore I will go with LowRyder or 60 Day Wonder. Never again will I buy autos from Nirvana, I mean what kind of business sells a product that they haven't even tested for genetic stability. I think that I will do business with "The Attitude" from now on, they at least give you free seeds with every order, which Nirvana does not, and they have a better rep. as well.

I just visited the Nirvana Seedbank just to ponder because I was bored out of my mind. Click on "Autoflower" and this is what they have posted, here's the link if you don't believe me:http://www.nirvanashop.com/us/autoflower-marijuana-strains-1.html
I say screw Nirvana for selling us bad batches of seeds. This is bullshit I put a lot of time and dedication into my grows and what do I get in return, some bullshit that might flower if I stand on one foot and jump around in circles....fuck all that Nirvana I am done with you, you just lost a loyal customer, I had faith in Nirvana as a reputable Seedbank, but now... pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Anyone have any good things to mention about "The Attitude"? I haven't heard any bad news about them so far. If you have had a bad experience with "the attitude" seedbank let me know. Also if you have some good seedbanks (that order to the USA) let me in on the links to the websites so I can find some real seeds, not some unstable mutant bullshit! (My plants are doing ok, SO FAR) I hope they are stable and did not come from the bad batch I was looking forward to some good smoke!
Autoflowering strains

IMPORTANT NOTICE ON OUT OF STOCK STRAINS:

Time to cut the BS and inform you on what's really going on. There's a lot of nonsense doing the rounds about our decision to put four of our auto-flowering strains out of stock, so here's the truth, straight from the source.

Since introducing our four new auto-strains, reactions were mostly positive. We would like to stress that many of our customers have successfully grown these strains to their full satisfaction, as photos on many online cannabis communities will prove. There was one small batch of faulty Blue Mystic autos sent out, but we replaced seeds for the few customers that were involved. Lately, however, we have been receiving more and more complaints about a failure to flower in these four strains. This is why we have decided to temporarily stop selling them. We are currently doing some major quality testing to ascertain which batch or batches caused these issues. Since a lot of people still reported successful grows, and since testing is done regularly, we do know that not all batches were affected.

For all our customers who've ordered auto-flowerers from us, here's what you should do: First, don't panic! Rumour-mongers most likely have never even ordered from us, and are often not properly informed. Your seeds may very well turn out to have nothing wrong with them whatsoever.

Begin by making very sure that any problems you are experiencing with these strains are not due to grower mistakes! Common mistakes include:

- using nutrients intended for use in the vegetative period. If you're using these, the plant will not get the necessary nutrients to start producing flowers. Solution: switch to flowering nutrients immediately.
- using a 24/0 light cycle. The fact that auto-flowerers are not photo period dependent, like regular cannabis plants are, does not mean that being bathed in light 24/7 is right for them. Many growers make the mistake of thinking plants need to be exposed to light as much as possible to grow bigger, when the dark period is actually when plants use that built-up light energy to develop roots and leaves. (obviously, using a dark period also means far lower electricity bills and heat output). Solution: switch to an 18/6 or even 16/8 light cycle.
- using too high temperatures. Tying in with the issue above - if plants get too hot, flowering may be affected. Slightly lowering the temperatures simulates the ending of the growing season, thus stimulating flowering. Solution: carefully lower those temperatures.

The above should fix issues experienced with seeds from all good batches. If you believe you have received a bad batch, and you've tried the above solutions and still have problems, please contact us through the Help Desk and we will sort things out. If, on the other hand, you've been driven to panic over what someone wrote on a forum, we would urge you to verify that your growing conditions are correct with the help of the list above.

In the meantime, as mentioned above, we will focus on batch testing to find out which batches were affected, and on quality control to make sure this doesn't happen again. As a safety measure, all batches of these autoflowering strains will remain set to "out of stock" until we can be sure that the batches we have are flowering properly. Please note that our Short Rider strain is definitely not experiencing quality issues, and is therefore stil available for sale. So if you are interested in buying an auto-flowering strain, we advise you to order Short Rider for now. Thank you for reading, and our apologies to all customers who were affected.
