Well I don't know, I think I am going to stick to regular photoperiod feminised seeds from now on. Got this message from Alice at Nirvana today:

Hi Destinee,
I will send you a 5-pack of AK-48 to replace the NL autoflowers and one pack
of AK-48 regular seeds for free.
Peace,
Alice

DO NOT BUY AUTOFLOWERS FROM NIRVANA!

Really bad weather here on the east coast. if you have outdoor harvests and live around North Carolina you might want to go check your outdoor ladies for wind damage from last night's storm.

small update day 22: All Big Buddha "Automatics" have shown sex now. 4/5 were female. None of the Northern Lights or the Rock Locks have shown sex yet.

Switching to 12/12 light cycle and MH bulbs to HPS by Saturday.
Thats great dwarfman420. The NL and Rock Lock should show sex soon. Mine showed sex at around 21 days for some of my NL to show white hairs and some took 28 days to show hairs. Once I saw hairs I have cut back on the lights to around 12/12 or 13/11.

I also have a question I got a pack of Bloom Booster N-P-K ratings are 10-60-10. Shultz is the brand name. Anyone used this before? I even have a picture: I was going to start at 1/4 recommended strength to see how my ladies react. It is supposed to enhance all blooming flowering plants, so my guess is that it is time for their first dose of medicine. Take in mind that I have around 8 Miracle Gro Spikes N-P-K rating of only 10-12-10, very low for blooming, that was ok for veg, and they release that small dose for 60 days. I figure a small dose of the Bloom Plus would help overall bud production in the end. What do you guys think? Once again here is a photo of the Schultz Bloom Plus:

Please let me know if this is a good Fert. for my Northern Lights. I don't want to hurt them since I have made it this far, can't wait until harvest day comes!

IDK, I am of the opinion that 60 K is way too much. The 10 P is too low. I use jacks bloom that has micro nutes. Not sure if you MG spikes have micro nutes. You may want to dig up those spikes and just go with a good bloom fert. Anything close to a 10/30/20 ratio is prob good.

Thanks for the info! I am going to see if I can find a good Blooming fert close to that ratio.

There are variety to choose from. I use Jacks, it cost about five bucks a container. Anything in that range w/ micro nute will do.

P011010_22.54.jpg Here is an updated picture of my grow. About 4 or 5 days in flower, each day more and more white hairs are appearing in various locations on each plant. now about 50 days left until harvest. What do you guys think of my ladies so far? 300 Watts HPS/CFL combined all flowering spectrums only (2700K) This will help with the flowering process, hopefully.

Looks great one...I gotta get a camera so i can put up a journal on my NL auto.
That would be great Hefty, how old are your ladies and have they started flowering yet? My NL autos all started flowering around the 25 day old area. All four are flowering and showing new white hairs everyday, I just have to give them TLC until harvest time and remember to flush my ladies so they have that smooth taste. I will me cutting my ladies off at the bottom of the main stem and hang them upside down for until they are ready to be put into mason jars for curing. Will keep all my trimmings, etc. for some hash!

Switch to 12/12 for a week. You should see hairs by the 4th day of 12/12 light/dark schedule. Also make sure you are giving your ladies Bloom Fertilizer, something that has a high middle number, like around 10/30/20 will work fine. Also make sure you're temps in your grow area are cool (Like around 70-73 or a little cooler at night to trick the plant into thinking that it is mature and the fall season is coming and they better start making fruit (or in this case buds).
Try this and see if it helps, lower your temps, make sure you are giving a light dose, don't go crazy with the nutrients, and give them a week of 12/12 light/dark and i guarantee you will see signs of flowering, well I won't guarantee but it sure did work for me!
