You would idealy cut above the first, or second true node. I'm not sure how well a plant that has grown so large takes to topping... it should have been topped weeks ago so you may want to look that up. Topping usually happens as branches begin to grow out of nodes when they are really small

I might be wrong but I think topping is more a matter of using more effeciently the light so if your plant is already quite bushy and you top for 4main cola you end up using less efficiently your light than if you only get 2 main cola.

Also I thought that topping after the 2nd set of true leaves would be better on a plant you want to top again, no ?

I feel like that one is one node too high for 4. Unless the branches growing out the top were also removed? Cause you definitely cut above the 3rd true node on that. I can't really see the nodes on the other plant though and I'm too baked off this kush to figure it out bongsmilie

hey man looking good i must say...a good way to get a bunch of tops along with the topping is to lst to get as many tops as u want. its pretty easy just tie back the dominant tops until the 2 lower branches catch up ull have 4 guaranteed. Check out how many tops i have on the plant on the right side of my room. I trained the shit out of it right when it started to flower. Now I got Like 8 main tops. Keep up the good work man.

on the blueberry and sharksbreath i wasnt to botherd to get 4 tops 2 will be just fine ;) sour cream will have 4 good tops

ok boys the big dady is here MAGNUM XXXL! I GOT A 600W MH IN THERE AND IM LOVING IT NO HEAT WHATS SO EVER!!
got a 6" 520cfm fan on it, im bludy loving!

here is the reflecktor and the 600w mh. i can put my hand right under the glas and cant bearly feel any heet whats so ever. the light is spready nice and evenly.

If you wait like a week and a half and then germ more seeds by the time you harvest you could have some other plants ready for flower

Only if you have the space though. You have enough equipment it seems to go perpetual, and your plants are REALLY healthy you have the growing/watering/nutes thing down well enough.

i got it about 3 and half ft from plants, quit new to this mh light going to have to experiment and see what hight is the best.

adit: i have move it much closer now. 18" will move it closer in about couple days. just letting the babys get used to the light

yeah alredy got a few germed got 4 northern lights and 1 bag seed, all germed and planted them today, they under the t5 at the moment waiting to pop the ground, then going to let them grow a few weeks under the t5 and then put them under the mh. im going to lst the rest so they stay short for the new seedlings to grow,
