Just a quick update. The final yeild of the Blue Dream was 37-1/2 ounces. The buds look like indoor buds and are much more dense than the Mango. So that is over 4lbs on the first two plants, twice my goal. ;)
I started flushing the Super Bud, hairs are turining and trichs are 20% amber 10%milky.

This is a pic of what is goin on in my garage right now. It has been the trimming head quarters for the last few weeks.

Looks like beautiful thing my man. Im dreadfully thinking of taking mine down early because of a bug problem.don't know what they are though. They look like little tiny mothscrossed with flies.they are gray in color and are laying it looks like hundreds of tiny pinhead sized black eggs on the bottom of the leaves. Anyone on here know what they are?also how to get rid of them with house hold product that is bud safe?cause i only have about two weeks left before i bring down the one that has the worst of the problem.

I forgot about this crazy thread. When are the rest of the girls coming down? Thats top green thumb skills by the way, most people strive for 2 pounds a plant, you make it look easy.

Thanks man, you have some trim work ahead of you for sure. I am really picky though on how I trim, so it takes me a little longer than most.

i am also quite the picky trimmer... stoked to say though, my wife is coming along. we trimmed through about a 1/2 the other night, and her work was actually really good. for the first time I didn't really have to go back over it very much.

....as a result of her good work, I let her hit the scissor hash with me... :weed:

LOL My wife has got very good at it too. She is much slower than me though. When we trim together she does about half what I do, but it looks good now. She has figure out how to get the water leaf stems all the way out without cutting the bud in half. lol

that ratio is probably about the same for me.. I do a better job and am at least twice as fast, if not a little bit more. she has trouble keeping the scissors moving without cutting the buds. my "scoop under and snip" method is quite effective but not really easy to do unless you put in hours upon hours of practice.. im sure it's the same for you.

Those are some great numbers for your yield, what size pots were you in for your outdoor? I can only imagine if you dug some big ass pits and backfilled with your mixture what you could yield, probably darn near dbl it up. The cut of dream my friend had outdoors last year could of easily passed as indoor bud, super dense nuggets, absolute fire, thats the beginning of when I became such a fan of the strain. I actually took some pictures a week back or so, now I just have to figure out how I load them up and then onto the forum somewhere, Im not good with that kinda stuff, but Im sure I can find someone to show me the way. Anyways great job brotha, I believe you still got a plant or two finishing up right? I got 2 diff cuts of blue dream, one should be done 2wks or so, but the other is a heavier sativa that looks like another 4wks atleast, tallest plant in the garden at just under 10', not the heaviest, but super sativa looking, should be great. On another note what happened with the Raiders this last week, Janikowski had a little chip shot to win it...still you guys are alot better off than my damn 9ers, they're killing me...I also think Im gonna try and make it to that harvest fest depending on the garden and how much is left to do, I cant really leave the property un-attended, just too much risk and I would just be freaking out the whole time unable to enjoy myself, but the festival sounds like fun. I know my buddy that has recently been employed by one of those big "commercial" ops down in Oakland, their group or company are going to be up with alot of their product, they got some great bud, awesome cut of masterkush and blue dream, but the real treat is sub's jillybean that I eventually need to get my hands on sometime. Alright well Ive rambled on long enough, take care, peace!

lol Give her a shot, she might surprise you. My wife is very maticulous, just a little slow.

That is the worst when you look over and see someone else trimming a nice fatty and they cut it in half. Now I must say I haev done it too, but it is harder to see someone else do it. lol ;)

I used 100 gal pots. Next year, providing I get the property thing worked out, I am going ot put 12 in 5x5 above ground beds framed with a 8x8' screen. I am going to shoot for 6 pounds plants next year, now that I have a little more understanding of the outdoor. I have a friend that did an outdoor scrog with the 5x5 beds and has the biggest trees I have ever seen. He is expecting 12 lbs per plant, but he has been doing this method for several years. So, my expecations will be mush lower.
I am taking down a Super Bud tomorrow, which will leave me with the (Chem Dog) and the (Blackberry Kimo x Blue Dynamite) which will probably be another 3-4 weeks.

Man how I would love to grow 10+lb plants, last year I had 2 plants over 5lbs which is biggest Ive personally grown, I dont quite think Im going to break my own record this year, though theres a couple that could get close. Is your buddies 100% organic that has the 10+ pounder, seems all the really big trees are all organic, I indeed need to start steppin my game up and locking down every aspect of growth, especially indoors but constantly wanting more ideas and knowledge for outdoor growing as well. Can you possible post any pics up that outdoor 5x5 scrog setup, or your buddies setup and plant. Does each plant have its own 5x5 scrog bed? Since I havent been growing indoors all that long, Ive never done a true scrog, lots of tying and bending for even canopy. If possible post some pics of the set up, what strain is your buddy growing thats 12lbs, sounds like a good idea...main question is does each plant have its own bed or are you saying 12 plants in 5x5 raised bed????

Sorry man , I don't have pics of his set-up. If I go up there again before harvest, I will take a pic though. He has one plant in each 4x4 bed and he framed it with a screen that is a little wider than the beds. I would guess his plants are 16' center. The plants extend out another couple feet past his screen.
