Droopy, ridged, leaves and purple stems

Damn that sucks. Without the tester there is no way to be sure. Most home improvement stores should carry them. even during the winter. Have you flushed?
No, I haven't flushed, I just did a total transplant into new soil... Do I need to flush when I haven't even added anything but one watering? I will check with Home Depot, I couldn't find one at Lowe's.

I am no pro--but I would give her the water she needs--keep lights on for at least 8-15 hours --and then put her into 16-8--you don't talk about light at all--so I don't know--roots grow at night --if her roots are strained--with no new growth u r phucked--give her a break--let her roots regrow--then blast away--I just don't think the roots have taken yet--nor will they without a vacation--16-8 or 18-6---need some new rootrs for uptake of nutes--just my guess--been doing soil for 15+ yeasrs

Thanks a lot Coalcracker, you just confirmed a suspicion I had! In fact, I had just decided yesterday to put her into 18/6 so she could get a rest. I was thinking maybe the 24 hrs was too much, she's been in 24 for about 11 days now prior to yesterday. I had no idea roots grew @ night so that makes total sense. I forgot to add that to my post until you mentioned it. Hoping like everything she makes it out...

Thanks man, appreciate the input!

Just started some new seeds in case she doesn't make it, Marzar and AK47xHerijuana. I may just end up doing my grow with the new stuff, since I have more space now I can sex correctly and I can just let the Trainwreck take her time getting well.

I don't know what exactly they call it---I believe Hoccum theorums--some time the simplest explanation is the best--plants do not live in 24 hour light! at least not most unless on the north pole--then they die and regrow--with new roots and growth--and die again---and regrow--coal

don't get frustrated if it takes 8-10 days for her too take root--just keep the light cycle close too the same--coal
Thanks again! It makes total sense, 24 hrs is not the norm and for a struggling plant it has to be hell. That's exactly why I changed it, because after reading a post by someone that claimed their plants (healthy ones) were doing better under 18/6 than 24, it got me thinking maybe it would help my girl too. I'll keep posting on how she does...

Purple stems are perfectly normal. Ive grown many a plant that were perfectly healthy and all of them had purple stems.

In fact, i dont think ive ever seen a plant without purple stems or purple lines running down the stalks.

As for the drooping, possible over/under watering or nutrient burn.

Well, after 2 days of 18/6, I think I can see improvement. Some of the leaves that were drooping are more erect now. I took a look at the smaller growth at the nodes and they are still green and look pretty good, it's the older stuff that is hurting so bad. please, please, please, pull out of this my sweet girl...

Just thought I would give an update for anyone who cares...
Looks like she's pulling through just fine, I'm so happy!
If you're reading this, just remember this thread and what PH problems can do, don't let it happen to you!
