now it all makes sense, great idea!! i'd plus rep you, but cant do it again yet. plus i am sure you really dont care about rep!

i surf on my phone during the day, and shit dont always click cause of that little screen. i would have to scale this down to an 80mm PC fan and a folgers container, but this may work for me. i at least wont by an air filter yet.

you tried any of the other soil moist products? i read a few people talk about them, but I never checked them out until now. pretty nice products.

I built my air filter. It's made from pvc, chicken wire, panty hose, and activated carbon used for fish tanks. Works for about 6 months before I notice a big drop in its effectiveness. I'll post a pic of it when I get home on Monday along with some new pics of my Brazil x KC. She's really beautiful. Purple and lavender everywhere :)

i would do the carbon filter thing, but my scale is smaller and it would really mess with my temps. i would almost need a jet engine to cool it down, sound wise at least!

I'm still going with the ONA. It worked much better when I took out the cup with the gel cubes and placed them on top of my cab to adsorb the smell after it had been blown out of the cab. seems to work significantly better. I also drop a splash of vinegar into the coll air humidifier i use to blow cool air into the passive intake on my cab. It also make the humidifier operate more efficiently as the vinegar resists the hard water spots or mineral deposits to collect and clog up its operations.

Carbon filters are my next venture. I thought I would rig something up on mu huge exhaust fan. I was waiting to see what you do ultimately. What do you think?

I bought the carbon filter replacement sheets from lowesfor my last grow and doubled up they work well, but did diminish air flow. For you and those 3 huge exhaust fans you should be golden with the carbon replacement sheets. Look at the different brands though cause some have better properties than others, and compare home depot too, cause they have different brands as well.

Got a picture of the pack? I've never heard of the replacement sheets. Might be something useful for me to help get temps down. My filter is starting to run out of juice and I need to replace the carbon in it.

Here you go Jebus, and anyone else interested:

Here is some different carbon filters. If you look at the specs from those at Lowes, you can see that some filter more particles than others. You could probably go to the manufacturer’s website and gather more details. Like I said, doubled up they worked well. I may try them on the PC and see how temps go, but they raised them a few degrees on my last grow. Also read the dimensions. For instance, the compost filter at Home Depot is 3.5” x 3.5” and you only get 3, but the Idylis*from Lowes is 24” x 21”, and the Hunter filter at Lowes is 16” x 48” and states it removes 99% of particles from the air. This may be the best one I think I could find locally when I first looked at them. But get what will work best, not just the most for the money.* you can also search their sites for charcoal or carbon, and you will pull up a bit. I like to look at them in the store myself when possible. I hope all the links work, I copied and pasted them.

Since you double them up I bet you could sew them together and fill them with activated carbon. I don't think it would lower the air flow that much more and it should be even more effective at removing smells. You could also look for other air filters that may have better flow and sew and fill them instead. Just some more options to think about.

That's a good idea! And you have a powerful fan as well, so you shouldn't have any concerns there. I am sure there are better filters, but without someones first hand experience or a good amount of reviews its hard to tell. The specs say a lot but not everything. I have heard the compost filters are good, and the carbon filters used in ovens, but don't know of any specifically to point you in the right direction. I think I may get the Idylsis air purifier at lowes. And damn, I just seen only one of my links showed up, here are the rest.

hey everyone, whats up :)

well here they are today. went ahead and rubber banded the lemon skunk before it got to tall. she seems to be stable, still planning on plain water next feed.

bagseed showing what looks like a mag def, so gave her a little feeding. i am thinking the purple is the 67 degree nightsand 82 degree days.

new seedlings look ok, royal kush looks in the good party cup, the other one is stuck right now in the perlite hempy. not sure what its gonna do, but we will let it grow untli i need the real estate!!

next I found a seedling under my bed!!! it is in the little white pokemon cup, LOL! yeah weird! so what happened is i had been germing a few seeds in peat pucks on the fridge. after a couple of weeks i gave up, but just ripped the pucks apart and put the medium from them into a little cup, and stuck it under my bed, ya know waste not want not!! so today, almost another week or 2 after I tore the pucks up, i go under my bed to clean up some stuff, and low and behold there is a little seedling poking out. barely any light gets under the bed, so this must be one tough seed. know telling how long its been there. i sprayed it with the mister and put a baggy on it. it was a little yellow yesterday when i found it but today it has greened up some more.

enjoy, and let me know any thoughts or concerns you may see. i know the girls aint looking the healthiest right now.
