Whats up Guys n Girlys

This is my first Grow ever.

I will be posting pictures and info about my grow as I go along... Any input and/or comments would be greatly appreciated.... Any help would be appreciated as well.. If you see me doing something I shouldn't be doing, please let me know..... I am a newbie, but I have been doing a lot of reading, so Im not completely dumb.

Here is what Im working with:

Custom MDF board micro grow box:
Dimensions: 19"W x 19"L x 27"H
Lights: 4 - 30w 6500k CFL's for VEG - 2700k for FLower (120 WATTs total)
Reflective material: Reflectix Mylar lined bubble insulation 99% reflectivity
Fans: 2 - 120mm 78cfm (intake) / 2- 80mm 89cfm (exhaust) / 1-4inch fan inside box.


The Medium/Nutes:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil

Fox Farm Grow Big, Big Bloom, and TIger Bloom. Ph UP/DWN. SuperThrive. Molasses.

The Baby Girl:

Bubba Kush Clone (bubble Gum X OG Kush)

I will be doing an LST grow...... I already topped my plant on day 7...... on day 10 (today)...... I have noticed a lot of condensed growth right under the spot were I topped the plant..... and 2 more nodes have popped out on the lower stem!! hell yeah.


Water and Nute schedule have been 400ml of water every other day, with 1/4 strength nutes added every other watering...... THis last watering I gave her a good dose of fresh PH'd water until it dripped from the bottom of the pot.... she hasn't been watered for 2 days since the big watering.... tomorrow I will up the dose to slightly less than half strength on the nutes, and go back to watering every other day with 400-600ml of water. Watering will depend solely on soil dryness... I dont wanna over water her... THis is a newbie mistake I an determined not to make

Sup Peepz,

THis is day 15 of veg since I brought my bubba kush clone home from the CLub.

Things are looking pretty god to me so far.... this is my first grow ever so I am learning as I go.

At the moment I feel like Im doing a good job.... I topped my plant and started to lst it..... My box is only 27" high so I want to keep things short and bushy.

and from the looks of it, this plant is gonna grow up to be a friggin bush....

The growth on it is super condensed...no stretching what-so-ever...... and Im only using 4 30 watt CFL's..... maybe this is the way Bubba Kush is suppose to grow? I really dont know since this is my first grow ever.

Oh well..... Things are looking short bushy and green thats for sure....

Im watering tomorrow with fresh water..... the next watering after that I will introduce FOX FARM GROW big into the feeding schedule.

Any comments would be appreciated, thanks.

Sup Guys n Girlys,

today is day 16.... and after the lights went back on I noticed that the lower node on the bottom of the bent mainstem is growing quite fast...... it kinda started to grow under the main canopy... so I started a very light lst on it to bend it slighty back towards the other direction...

If anyone have any questions, comments, suggestions, tips, advice.....please feel free to chime in.... I am a rookie u know

Oh and trust me...... there is a stem somewhere in there.... it just covered up by all the bush!! yay!

Sup Guys n Girlys,

Today is day 18 of my 1st grow. Operation Bubba Kush

So this morning right before lights out, I fed my baby its first dose of Fox Farm Grow Big (6-4-4) along with Big Bloom......tonight when I got home from school, I noticed that my plant is getting a darker shade of green... and the leaves look very perked up and happy.... I think shes liking her food at 50% strength..... in a week will Up her dosage to 75%, to see how she handles it.... but so far shes handling it very well.

Thanks to everyone that has stopped by to check out my first grow..... I really appreciate it.

Hopefully, my first grow will turn out to be a success.... My goal is to show people that anyone can grow their medicine successfully on their first try. All it takes is with a little bit of dedication to research and a lot of reading.

SUp Rorstar! yeah its a pretty small box....... good enough for 1 good size plant with a respectable yield.... or 2-3 small ones with a decent yield. Stealth isnt really an issue for me since Im a medical patient..... once i start getting some experience i might retire this small box an build a bigger one.

Nice Bro! thanks for stopping by.... I checked out ur grow.... looks very cool....im interested to see how it turns out... u might need some more light tho.... that 14watt bulb is gonna make ur babies stretch far.

THis is Day 20 of veg....... things are looking very healthy and green.... If things keep going the way they are going, I will probably start to flower earlier than expected.

I started to LST some of the branches that are getting thick growth in order to get light to the lower nodes.

Here are some pictures of the LSTing.......I know I know.... It looks ugly right now..... but lets wait a few days to see if there is any growth from the tiny leaf sets i just exposed to light. fingers crossed.

QUick Question for you Pros out there,

Can/Should I cut off some of the fan leaves that are blocking light to the lower nodes?

Im getting such thick condensed growth that even with LST I still cant get light to all the other nodes that are trying to grow out..

Any help would be appreciated.

Or....

Should I just let it do its thing for afew more weeks before I start flowering. My box is 27 inches high..... dont ask me what it is in the metric system... I live in America, we are still too dumb to switch over. LOL

Hey What up World,

So on day 24 I tried watering my plant...... and I actually watered her more than usual, I wanted to check the drainage..... Well since Ihad a shit load of small holes drilled under my tupperware pot, plenty on those holes had roots sticking out of em....So no water was coming out of em.. So i decided to transplant her into a bigger pot.

Its been a day since I transplanted her..... Today is Day 26, and as of now.... I am not noticing any shock what-so-ever..... I was ready for it tho, I sprayed the soil with pH'd water and a drop of SuperThrive...

Putting her into a bigger pot give me more room to work with also, since im LST'ng the plant....... the last pot kinda had the whole plant on one side..... now shes more centered and has a lot more fresh soil to grow into..

lookin great dude! The bigger pots will help for sure. The wider the root zone, the wider the plant. Bubba Kush is a great choice for this type of grow. They flower better than other strains I've tried under cfl lights, they are pretty quick flowering and the buds get pretty thick and dense under the cfl's.
