So i'm a beginner on growing and I need help on what kinda lights I need to buy and where I can buy them. I want to make everything simple and easy this smoke is just for me not to sell so I dont mind if its not the best pot ever reggie is fine. I am only growing one plant at a timee so if that changes what kinda lights then so be it. Also my sprout is about 2 inches tall right now it sprouted about 1 1/2 weeks ago? not exactly sure I kinda just threw them in the soil and it just so happend to pop up. Also its not in the best spot so about when should I replant it into another pot? or if its a really big risk of killing it should I leave it there? If I do replant it what kind of soil should I use?

only one plant go to HTG SUpply and look at their T5 systems. use that for veg and flower and it wont cost a ton.
you can grow under a single compact florescent bulb to get the ball rolling. Get a 6500 K Daylight bulb 23 watts or so.
Add more later if you can keepthat one growing.
Use whatever soil you can buy and add extra perlite up to 50-50 mix.
You can transplant any time if your gentle, MJ is pretty tough plant.
Oh yeah get a small fan blowing on your baby at all times, it helps it toughen up the stem. An old computer fan is ideal.

Yes if you are in soil definately make sure if and when you transplant to a new pot that you go the 50/50 on soil and perlite so your roots get plenty of oxygen and grow big and strong!! as far as the best light to use to grow its always going to be costly ones however since its a first grow and since nobody likes spending tons of money i would go with a CFL(compact flourescent light) you can buy these at any hardware or retail store. your looking for about 1-3k lumens output per square foot where you will be growing. if you really are going to put some time into it and dont want to spend to much money you can go to walmart and they have T8 light fixtures for 20 bux and the bulbs for the fixture that you need for veg i think were around 10 at most. these fixture are also 4 feet long so if you have the space for it you could do that and grab like 3 more babies to ensure you have some backup if you make any mistake. if room is an issue definately get a little cfl oh and by the way at hardware stores like ace you can buy a bulb to outlet converter so all you would need to get the light on is an extension cord which also makes it very easy to adjust the hight of your light. good luck hope all goes well

Maybe it's just me .... But dude you should start reading up , know what your doing befor you do it ... rather than just diveing in and being yet another clueless noob .

But if i'm doing this ALLLLL wrong and theres no helping this plant I can easily start over its not hard to get seeds. And this is just my first grow i'm trying to understand everything better so i can get a feel for it all and eventually in the future have some bomb growings.

The art of that Skill is to give it all you got in order to learn it , Soak up all the info thats allready here , Read others posts and see the questions they asked and what the answer was .
Read plant problems so you know what to look out for in the future befor it happens to you .... It's allways best to learn from others mistakes

If you are doing only on plant, I would go buy a small set of cfl's. Should only cost about 100 bucks. Then 50 for the extra bulbs for flowering as well as vegetative. That set of lights for one plant will do just fine. Especially since you have no yield requirements. I can tell you botanicare with some aurora products are a simple way to start feeding your plants in soil, and they are not too expensive. A small bottle of botanicare vegging and flowering will do you fine. Once you get the basics down, you will then be trying to increase your yield per plant, their potency, and aroma. Good luck, my friend.

I can do the fertalizer I can do the soil and everything I already have my schedule set up for lights I just dont know what kinda lights to get and i'm not an adult or anything so I cant buy off the internet I have to use places around me. I have a walmart, atwoods, ace hardware right down the road now I just need to know what kinda lights I needa get. My age shouldnt matter anybody can grow a plant so anybody should be allowed to get the knowledge. And i'm breaking the law by growing a plant why the hell would It matter if i'm breaking the rules on this webiste to learn how to grow it. I'm not a grower really I just want to try it out.
