Its a scotts topsoil with perlite and vermiculite mixed. It did have bark, but I removed a lot of the bark. I transplanted the royal into a 50/50 mix of miracle gro and perlite thinking that very thing daniels. I haven't even used miracle gro before, it was what my wife had. I am hoping that will work better, and I am gonna pick up a bag of something new, probably a miracle grow product and some more perlite. I have a compost pile, but I want to burn it while mixing it good, then put some lime in it, mix it good, and let it get rained on a couple months before it will be ready for plants. I really want to try a hempy grow, but the last try was slow, and I'm out of perlite now. I aint using my scotts mix again for sure. Seems I keep shooting myself in my foot, time to cautorize another wound!

The colors are pretty, what is everyone elses thoughts on the amount of amber in them trich shots?

really, that much? maybe i will take another look before bed. i'll try and take some more pic's for some more opinions in the morning, thanks

It's hard to tell from a pic. I can see some spots that I think is an amber, but even with a microscope I have a hard time telling. (granted I'm all baked)
Wish I could be more of a help. I watch for a last few white hairs then for them to get red/orange. That is close to last chance nanners. You have some good reasons not to hold out too much though.

thanks man! i tried to put together a mini fermentation chamber, but i havent had time to test it for a long period and see how long humidity lasts so i wont get to try this harvest in it. i have 70-72 ambient in the container though with 34-50 % humidity already. add a little heat and moisture along with proper air movement and I think I may have figured it out. next harvest for sure :D

man looking nice. that bagseed is looking good. i must have missed that the ls hermied. gay. at least you might get some seeds. bagseed is getting super close. have you started flush yet?

Thanks CT! yeah, she hasnt got any nutes in about a week, so i think I may take a cola today or tomorrow depending on what they look like when she wakes up

alright, so I think maybe take the top portion of the plant tomorrow, and judge the rest on friday. i do plan to reveg this one as it stands, so i have to leave some growth. the last pic is of the tip top, and i think second to last is close to top too. what does everyone think?

Well i culled the top!! it had enough amber. i would have done more, but the farther down I went I had more white hairs. i am thinking I will harvest the rest Saturday night, or sunday morning. it's pretty dense for sure. good thing too the plant hasnt been watered lately so I hope that helps with weight. enjoy!
