i'm using organic veg and bloom. full doses of each. heavy doses.

i pull the female out and put her on my desk. roll the brush on the nuggets to get it sticky then dip it in the pollen. i lightly brush it on each hair being careful not to leave a lot of excess. then i flick the stump 4 or 5 times while holding the plant in front of a fan to blow off any loose pollen. then it goes right back in. i get an occasional seed on my other plants. just more genetics to me. :blsmoke:

If your having trouble with bugs in your room and your growing organic buds... This may sound crazy, but... Use some chewing tobacco. Empty the pouch into a mason jar then fill with water. let it sit for a day or 2 @ room temp. then strain the solids out with a coffee filter. and pour 6 ounces of the brown liquid into a 24 ounce spray bottle. Spray only once a week... It will keep the bugs off your ladies and you can stay away from chemical bug killers.

two of the raft are "locked out". i've really been feeding heavy. i watered 3 days ago. tonight everything is bone dry except 2 raft. they are still fully wet. one is showing severe nute burn the other looks ok still. the hairs on both are turning brown because of this. not a good thing. even though they were both still fully wet i went ahead and flushed them with 3 times the normal amount of fresh water. they either pull through or die of over watering.

You can remove the rootball from the pot if you need the medium to dry quickly as long as its a bit pot bound and your sure it wont fall apart after a hard flush if your worried that it may die from logging:blsmoke:

i was thinking of doing that during lights out. :mrgreen::blsmoke: maybe even set them on a stack of newspaper to leech some moisture out.

interesting.......I didn't know you were having problems with the raft....I think the problem isn't the nutes, it's the amount of soil you have compared to the amount of nutes you give them...now I know those things will take a lot of feeding from what you told me, but the fact that your pots are fairly small and the buds are huge, could be the reason they are locked out...root bound also im sure..those pots will work just fine with some plants, but the plants you grow tend to be a little on the large side...So IMO, your watering, feeding, and growing them correctly, but the lack of soil and root mass may be causing the problems and making them burn easier...just something to get your mind going..:peace:

Hey FDD took a quick look through your journal and it's looking good. I need to find out where to get some of those raft seeds! Fat colas up top for sure. Hey I saw you vegged in coffee-cup sized pots, what are you flowering in?

Damn, I wish I could grow buds that fat. But, I'm only 20 with already 3 years of growing under my belt. So, I figure by the time I'm your age I'll be twice as good....Naw J/K I'll probably never be that good. Looks good brother:peace:

yep, they locked up 'cause i was blasting them hard with nutes. when they locked up the soil was already soaked. so i had to flush but i am worried about over watering. this looks like it will work.
