Carbon Filters

How well do carbon filters work in reducing the smell of the plant, and do you think they are worth the money? Where do you get them at and do they come small enough to install inside a computer case for a stealth grow?

I don't think they make them for the size of a computer case. If you want to get an idea of how to make one yourself, you can check out my DIY thread. The link is below in my sig. I would suggest for your computer to cover the fan ports with carbon prefilter cloth. its in the air conditioning section at your local hardware store

I just installed a 150mmx500mm inside my 1mx1mx2m grow tent with a 150mm 500CFM fan. Works great. No smell. Only when I open the tent. Then when I close it and leave a window open to vent out the room air, all sweet. Definitely worth buying if your paranoid about smell.

You can make your own out of a strong PC fan and a large soup can, fill with activated charcoal or carbon and suck the air thru. they work better than anything else, a house would stink to high heaven without one.

ebay because im lazy

I'm another Ebay fan. It's safe to order there. Think about it, if the law were to track people through Ebay, they'd also do it here. It would cost tons of money to track down every person that ordered stuff for growing, or posted about growing, to be worth their effort. After all, most of us only grow a couple plants, which wouldn't be worth their time and money. They're looking for 'kingpins', so to speak. Now, if you ordered twenty 1000 watt HPS systems, I'd be worried....lol
