Sorry I wasn't more clear. No, only Clearex during flush. Stopping all nutes includes the molasses and Sweet.u use the carbs during flush?

now im confused....your right these nutes were money....why do you want out flush out all the exspensive nutes you used?
flushing is for hydro, no need in soil. unless you overfed and need to fix it.
Um did you know flushing is not needed? Are you growing a toilet? And of course he did. How else can he sell you more?um did you know your wrong? he knew i had the humboldt honey....i told him and he confirmed flush with it...

Well, if you want to remove nutes from soil so the plant uses up everything its stored, why wouldn't you use it preharvest? I remix my soil every crop anyway...dry it out some, add what's needed etc.why do you want out flush out all the exspensive nutes you used?

yes i am growing a toilet...Um did you know flushing is not needed? Are you growing a toilet? And of course he did. How else can he sell you more?

thanks dude, i might try it on one plant and see the differences if any
Clearex is basically citric acid all wrapped up in a fancy label. Lemon juice will accomplish the same thing.ic, what is clearex? whats wrong with just plain water?
Ok first of all I have like 3-4 grows under my belt, so an expert I am not. I just do a lot of research though and try to learn from my mistakes. This is what I understand about flushing preharvest: Your plants have all these nutrients stored up in the cells of the plant. This can affect the taste of the end product certainly. To me, that would be the biggest reason but I believe there are other, perhaps more important reasons for doing it.not understanding...
you have more reading to do. Flushing is NOt necessary in soil, it will not change taste 1 bit.Ok first of all I have like 3-4 grows under my belt, so an expert I am not. I don't buy the notion of losing money by flushing away nutrients. For one thing, when you start your next grow do you want the same nutrients for your babies that you ended your harvest with? Probably not. I don't necessarily start with new soil every time, but I do remix and reset my pots.
I've found that if you do your best to read the plant and feed properly, you don't need to flush. You don't flush garden veggies nor can you flush an outdoor cannabis plant in the ground. The plant pulls up what it needs from the soil, when it needs it, regardless if you give it food or not and that happens up to the last day. I believe people overdo the 'flushing stage' and leave some growth and resin production behind because they're not giving the plant what it needs in the last days of its life. Do what you're comfortable with but experiment with flushing and not flushing and really think about what you're doing and if that actually happens in nature or in veggie gardens.
If you chose to flush then use plain water.
If you are smart, flush with a mild nute mix.
Water like you normally would with 10% runoff and do this for the last 2 waterings or so.
The key is to not overfeed to begin with so you're not in a situation where your buds smell like fertilizer at day 60.
EXACTLY!!!Here is the deal...everyone has a different opinion or method they like to use...you just have to pick one you like and that works for you, but not everyone is going to agree with whatever you pick....what some people say is pointless and does nothing other people say it triples their yields....So you just never know. This is the internet and you get hundreds of people all relying on different things...very seldom will you get the same answers...I usually start with an idea and then cull those ideas to the 2-3 most popular things I hear and then I pick one out of those 2-3 and go with it. Like for awhile if you searched for the artist behind closing time on the internet it would pull up the song and say that Green Day was the artist....THEY ARE NOT!!!! But since some yahoo posted they were and then more and more people say that erroneous info they spread it like a disease until one day most of the internet thought that green day was the artist and they took away Semisonics one hit wonder...they became a no hit wonder as it were...lol. You will still find alot of sites that say Green Day but that is not true...In summation of this tirade I must say that when using the internet for research you have to use alot of your own knowledge and remember that just because someone put it on the net doesn't make it true...and false information on the internet spreads like syphillis in 1930's America...lol.
yes flushing is necessary i dont care what anyone says it is necessary in soil cause fertilizers will build up in your medium and cause u serious issues being Salt causing massive ph build up anyone saying they dont flush is full of chit on average a person prob runs around 800 to 1400 ppm with all the closet grows cfl's etc tells me most couldnt afford a 80.00 EC meter and cause everyone hammers there plants in nutes what ppm there really running is a mystery and once you switch to flowering u hammer ur plants with litterally double power think about it in veg your useing approx value of 14 for phos then u go into flower and what ??? ur in the 51 phos range what do you think is goin to happenyou have more reading to do. Flushing is NOt necessary in soil, it will not change taste 1 bit.
and I never reuse old soil.
I think you're talking about overfeeding here, it was hard to read because your keyboard apparently doesn't have the period or comma key. So answer me this: how do you flush subcools super soil or any homemade organic soil amended with meals, quanos and castings? Again, you're talking about overfeeding and flushing is necessary to make up for that mistake.yes flushing is necessary i dont care what anyone says it is necessary in soil cause fertilizers will build up in your medium and cause u serious issues being Salt causing massive ph build up anyone saying they dont flush is full of chit on average a person prob runs around 800 to 1400 ppm with all the closet grows cfl's etc tells me most couldnt afford a 80.00 EC meter and cause everyone hammers there plants in nutes what ppm there really running is a mystery and once you switch to flowering u hammer ur plants with litterally double power think about it in veg your useing approx value of 14 for phos then u go into flower and what ??? ur in the 51 phos range what do you think is goin to happen
funny then u see threads popping up goin into second week of flower and my leafs are all brown spots yellowing leafs curled down half of leafs folded right over but hey just keep hammering your plants dont flush and see what u get huh and as for this thread just flush dude no need to waste money FLUSH FLUSH FLUSH as your plant is litterally eatting itself and thats what you really want last week or 2 in flower so buds can take all plant can give it its lived its life
Follow proper feeding and watering habits and salt buidup will not become an issue. And starving your plants the last few weeks when they are bulking up the most, just foolish. But to each thier own.yes flushing is necessary i dont care what anyone says it is necessary in soil cause fertilizers will build up in your medium and cause u serious issues being Salt causing massive ph build up anyone saying they dont flush is full of chit on average a person prob runs around 800 to 1400 ppm with all the closet grows cfl's etc tells me most couldnt afford a 80.00 EC meter and cause everyone hammers there plants in nutes what ppm there really running is a mystery and once you switch to flowering u hammer ur plants with litterally double power think about it in veg your useing approx value of 14 for phos then u go into flower and what ??? ur in the 51 phos range what do you think is goin to happen
