Can bud dry in 2 days?

I know this is probably a question that has been asked before, but I can't find it nowhere and everywhere I find it, It says 3 days...

I chopped 2 plants 2 days ago and I hung them in my room inside the closet hanging upside down, it says ussually it's ready anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks so that you can put them in brown bags so it can really dry out...I understand you are supposed to wait for the buds to sort of dry out on the outside, but not let it get too dry so it won't mess up the bud....But the problem I am having is that only after 2 days it feels as if the buds are really dry already, and I just don't want them to be crunchy dry...My question is can the bud be ready to place in brown bags after just 2 days??

If YOU think they are to dry then they are to dry , Strip the bud off the branches and place them in a sealed container overnight , This will bring the moisture from the center out , Then just air the box every day and reseal it till you think the bud is a more even dry , You can then put it on drying nets or into jars for cure .

leave them hanging up, its the outer bud leaves that have gone crispy, the bud that jions to stem is very damp, keep them drying for 5-7 days evenwith a fan. put in plastic tupaware 24hrs later it feels perfect and lights up perfect. as the dry outer blends in with slightly wet inner, evening it out.

o_O how does drying anything work?

Some things that effect drying time: density, size, air movement, ambient humidity, heat.

The drying/curing process is about prolonging the length of time they take to dry, without allowing mold and other undesirable to grow. There is also a matter of taste involved. There is no set time for anything, it varies based on the proceeding criteria. It's an art, not a science :)
