looking really good :). i got a blueberry gum going too. trying to save her :(
give me the info. grow medium, nutrients, lighting, etc. I might be able to help you. I had two problems with mine. I had a Mg deficiency once and pH lockout of Phosphorus both during vegging. I have had no problems during flowering.

Glad you got that scope Free. That BBG looks great, and the KK is slow but steady too.

Tell me about it. It is worth it for sure. Well, SmellyTreeZ's KK is still going and I think it's at ten weeks and the trichs just got cloudy.

Yeah, he took a test branch to dry. It may be awhile before I run that KK, but maybe your pheno is diff and finishes faster.......
We shall see.... ATB!

It's looking pretty doubtful SupaM. I'm not too worried about it though. I have nothing, if not time. I will say this, she is one frosty bitch. The trim leaves will be almost completely white by the time it finishes.

Looking great Free, I did just take a peak at the test bud again and to my suprise there is around 5-10 percent amber so if I wanted to I could probably take it right now which shes right around 70 days into flowering:) I'll be giving her another week at least just to see what she does!

I've got a while yet myself.....at least 5wks more on one Haze strain. Over a month, and she is just now starting to cluster up!
What can you do.....but wait it out...? That BBG will be ready soon, i bet 2-3 wks max! ATB!

that's cool. You always seem to have some good advice, so I was just wondering if you had one and I just missed it. Looking good. Do you see any difference growing in a pot that big? I see good results out of 3 gallon. I know a plant could get bigger in a bigger pot because it could get a bigger root system. Then again, plant genetics will only allow it to get so big. That will be an experiment of mine...Growing two clones, one in a three gallon and one in a five or bigger.

The 7g is because of the the SS. Everything else is in a 3g, with the exception of two plants.
I have run in 7L, 3g, 5g, and 7g, and i've have def noticed an increase in yield, even side by side.
The SChaze is a longer flowering strain, so I wanted to maximize it's potential with plenty of room
to grow big. I won't run her again, i'm sure. Sorry, so long, but I hope i answered your question.

Maybe I'll get a better camera for Christmas for a proper journal as I believe in doing it right.
I love this sh!t, I'm just a lil shy too...

thanks. I wish I would have started the scrog earlier in the grow. I actually started in flowering, which is tough because limbs get stiff and you might end up snapping a few branches like I did. I just used some duct tape and taped it back together.

no need to be shy. Everyone is a myth anyway with screen names and avatars. You can be anyone you wanna be. I like growing as well. I like it and I am talented at it. If you can follow directions well and have a good deal of common sense, not only can you keep a plant alive, you can make it thrive. I have thought about going to NC State for horticulture, but I don't wanna take the fun out of growing. I like computers and that's why I am going to school for electrical engineering.

The difference in a couple more weeks veg and moving to a 5 gal bucket vs. staying in a 2 has at least doubled my yield! I would give it a try if you have the room! Like supaM, I did use the monster bucket because it was a longer flowering strain aswell but I'm glad I did. There where actually a couple factors that contributed to the overal yield but the pot and veg time where a big part of it!

BTW, supaM get that journal going at the begining of the year! I'll have a new one up too :)

yeah, I totally understand it, but a plant can only get so big. Granted, the root system could definitely get bigger than what a 3 gallon can hold, but I wondering about going any larger than five or seven. I guess what I am saying is that if you have a plant and the maximum size it could get was 3'X2' and yield 3oz in a 5 gallon bucket, would it do any good to plant it in a larger bucket? It's DNA gives it a limitation, but unless you take a bunch of clones from the same plant and grow them all in different size buckets, it would be impossible to know...and then you have to make sure each get the exact same water, pH, light, and nutrients. I might try and conquer that undertaking next year!

Yea that would be a cool comparison!

I'm not sure about the bigger pot but if you think about some of the outdoor plants that yield over a pound.. " I actually had a KandyKush picture that was ridiculious!" Anyway my point is I don't think there's a limit on how much you can get from a certain strain. The longer it veges and has time to build that root mass the more branching and bud your going to get assuming all the best conditions are met.. Anyway I'm just assuming this I don't have any proof or knowledge Its just from what I've seen while on this forum.

well, if that were the case, then technically you could get a plant as big as a red wood that would yield a 1000lbs. Even if the best conditions are met, a plant will only get so big and yield so much. There are limitations to everything in nature. I wish you were right though.

True, thats my point lol.

I guess when your looking online and they say this plant is tall, short etc. I assumed The only way they can give you a good idea is to say its grown outdoors. My question is if you take a strain that can only get 3' tall or whatever and veg it for 6 months or even a year, is the genetics really going to limit it to 3'? I doubt it! It would be interesting to see though.
