hygrozyme baby!! Golden told me about it - I'm so greatful that he did.... there's two things my girls love- - the hygrozyme and the kitty!! HA!
How do you apply this stuff, is it a soil additive, or a nute?

Things are smooth sailing in my tent right now, high 60 temps and mid sixties RH.

Nice - the hygrozyme is liquid in a bottle.... you add 6ml per gallon of water - and it just goes in with your advanced nutes, b-52 and whatever else you are feeding them. Then watch them turn green and have real perky leaves.... it's a beautiful thing. The only issue you have to be careful of is you stop adding it about half way through the flowering stage, as it can prolong flowering if you don't. Other than that - your ladies will be very happy!!

Here's a quick progress report:
Mixed my medium today. I ran out of time so the ladies will have to wait just a little longer for their new digs.
I just eye balled it all, add a little OF add a little HF add a little perilite add a little casting, mix it up with my hands being sure to turn in evenly... the Black Pearl had in fact not been opened as I thought, -I'd never seen it before- so here it is, looks like ashes just before they turn white (I added 1 tea spoon of it)... also added just under 2 table spoons of lime powder... I'm really getting excited now! I'm about to turn this party up!
Also, I knew I'd seen the word mycorrhizae somewhere before!

looks like your getting everything dialed in man. keep up the good work the girls are looking great. if you are worried about the temps when lights are off then you can do what i did. i went to wal mart and got a small heater with a thermostat on it and i set it to low 70F. with the fan blowing AWAY frommy girls. lol any way +rep and sub'd

Thanks everyone! Just a side note on the environment; currently I'm running this whole grow with one exhaust fan and a 6" clip fan inside pointed at the ladies. The fan I have hooked to the light vent isn't even turned on! Also, the intake fan I have setup, I unplugged it a week ago and haven't looked back. Interestingly enough, the fan continues to turn on the little intake fan even though its not getting any power, the suction from the 170cfm fan blowing out of the top of the tent keeps the air moving in at such a rate that the little blades keep turning 24/7...

Temps are in the low-mid sixties which is low but exceptable because the girls are simply weathering a cold snap, the weather will be warming up again a bit by the end of the week.... if things begin to get consistently too cold, I'll be looking into a heater like that perhaps.... wow, this weather is the biggest thing to fight, it's either way too hot or way too cold outside all the time...

View attachment 1325713Special Kush #1 - Nirvana Seeds.

How do you guys and gals like Nirvana via Attitude.... either/or?

They are the only two seed banks I have any experience with now - G13 and Dejaman Seeds, G13's beans germed fine so far (thanks for the free seeds too!) but the pricey Dejaman bean's have all either been male or not germed at all... :(
(It's a 13 time Cannabis Cup winning plant) I hope the 4 or 5 I have left germ and at least one is a girl.... a grow for the future...
Attitude on the other hand has come through every time now...

I need to find some square trays to go around the bottoms of my pots. I hope to find all the ladies happy and healthy tonight when I return to them....

oh yah, you want to keep your temp and humidity meter even with the tops of your girls. the way i did this is to tie a pies of wire or string to the chain of my light so that i can adjust it as the ladies grow and keep it level with the tops. does that make any sence?

That's right Barbie, to get a accurate reading I'd want to keep my thermometer at canopy level. Right after I took this picture I actually placed it right in the middle of all the pots (just propping it up) the plants are still so short that that actually places it right at my canopy, if you can even call it that yet. Up until now I've been hanging my thermometer by a chain just like you, securing it with a little twisty tie, man, aren't those little things handy? I wanted to get a more accurate reading so I moved it there... it's been reading 70 degrees every time I've popped in there to check it.... it got really cold here for a couple days again and the low reached 51 during my lights off yesterday, they are only off for 4 hours so it's not that big of a deal, besides, the girl haven't visually complained yet so if they are happy, i am happy. :)

They seem a little small to me at this point, but it's been pretty cold so that could be why, that, or I just grew a modern monster and looking at these girls now makes me think they are just little. I started to take pictures of every one then got distracted and only got only two, I went back and took another shot of my plant nanny though for you all to see... she will be handy when the holy days arrive and I'm away for a bit.

3 weeks from seed tomorrow, 4th and 5th nodes are showing themselves on the plants as well as five finger leaves, they are maturing.... but still so short...
The prettiest, healthiest looking plant out of the four is the first one, the Special Kush #1. Two of the ak-48's look more alike then the other... I've read about two phynome's of this plant existing, so perhaps I have two from one and one from another :) cool

It's a pleasure you have you ladies around to cheer me on! At this rate I might veg longer then I originally planned (if they are going to be this short) I've also read that people have had more potent buds from this strain when they let veg longer then just long enough.... I have the time so I'm going to let them just grow for at least 6-8 weeks before flipping the switch. Barbie, patients is one thing I am learning in spades, my last grow was just one plant that took 5 months to finish and I should've let her go another couple weeks I think.... I waited 17 weeks and 6 days into flower before I chopped! (that's why this one is a quick finisher. I had enough long waiting for now.)
