Help with grow room by HTG supply

Newbie,

Talked out of bubbleponics last post. gonna use soil.:roll:

I found a grow tent that I think will work. It looks like it has the basics. I dont "get" the wattage etc... dont really know what I am doing. Read and re-read Ryan Riley e-book. Not really getting the nute, nuggies or just about anything else but starting to learn. Bought feminized seeds (so hopefully wont screw that figuring out).

can someone please tell me if the light is enough, will I need another one for flowering stage or filters enough or what else I may need. It gets confusing during all research on line and they offered a "kit", but I am highly suspecios of companies saying "this is all you need" and then needed another $$ later.

I would like to get started asap in january.
It appears I will have the rest of this holiday weekend to research some more as we are expected 12-18 inches of snow.... also researching snowblowers:neutral:

I have to say I felt ripped off by HTG Fans were shit bulbs were shit hoods were shit ballasts too! Had to replace it all filter was a joke too.
What was your question? :o)

I went and read what you are thinking of buying, I think it is not enough watts...how many plants are you growing? OOOPS never mind not my business.
I swear buy 1000 watt HPS through the whole run. err uh my friend does.

The 250 would be good in that tent but a 400 would be better.You should go with the 400 and dont worry about switching lights only bulbs if you mh conversion for veg and hps for bud .You will be fine with everything else

Thanks, you would not need 2 for flowering? or I saw verticle lights too. thought would be good for the underside ? getting way ahead of myself for never doing this before? getting a little nervous about it... affraid of spending $$ and killing them.

Two light sources would be good cover more area but i would go with 1 light.A 400 will do great in that tent.You can even put a 600 watt hps in there but you would need proper ventilation.Like a vortex fan or something that moves alot of air.You can add cfls to the underside below the canopy to fatten up buds for you.

Thanks again kush. Im gonna try to make my decision and purchase by tomorrow night. Got heartburn thinking about it, but it looks like this site is pretty good for questions. I wish I had that crystal ball!

I use the same tent from the same place witha 400 good results.I plan on upgrading to a 600 real soon.But if not i will stick with the 400.Its been working fine for me so i have no complaints.Also if anything was wrong htg will fix it with a phonecall to them.

Check with your local grow supply store or nursery if in an area where you feel comfortable. I just got a quote for an air-cooled SunSystem 600w light with everything for $268.45/tx. And then you have a brick&mortar to go to if there's a problem and you've helped the local economy.

Negative at first oscillating fan and a bulb but then nothing did not fell good about the whole thing. I was trying to save some money and wound up buying everything twice.
I just buy local now.

So did you tell them the problem yes or no?
Any problem i ever had i called them up and a replacement was in the mail and the best part about it is its free of charge.I have a 400 watt + euro reflector and cooltube,growbright tent,3 duct fans,a 150 hps,t5s and i plan on either getting another 400 or 600 watt with another cooltube.And i dont have no problems after the first faulty bulb i was sent with the 400.Might i add these lights been growing for almost 3 years now.Only thing i do now is replace bulbs after a 3 harvests.

LOL Budlover... prob is the nearest supply store is like 40 minutes away. The nursery's around me are just plants and decorations. That is where I am at a disadvantage in NJ. I wish... I need to be up close and personal to figure things out. photos on line are hard to figure out what goes where. That is also why I need a "kit" cause it is too hard to figure out and I cant DIY this kind of stuff. Great with computers - suck at watts/volts and ohms. I wish I lived in CA.. I would say... come on over and put it together for me.

I like the snow, but I think I may just stick to a drive to the Sierra's for that experience! If Florida legalized, how would the smuggling culture survive? lol

Although seeds and 1000w might make a fun vacation!

They were very helpful at first, but the replacements were not good either. then they started giving me a hard time about the ballasts (in the middle of a run) I need a ballast NOW but to no avail.
I am glad you have good luck with them,m but I DID NOT.
I 'm not just talking trash cause I'm some shit talking jerk, I felt ripped off at the very time I was trying to save money. so I said my piece. I buy quality local equipment now.
Glad you had good luck with them Kush, but again I DID NOT.

I know. I am a newbie on here... I'm just a stranger with only 8 err 9 posts now.
I think this site is GREAT I was looking for a cannabutter recipe, was directed here and my first batch of cookies are done now.
