Anyone ever used Jacks Classic Plant Food or organic molasses?

I've been looking into nutrients and came across this brand. Some people use it but I'm not sure if they're dynamic duo plan is legitimate. If you use this nutrients please tell me how they work out and if they result in good buds. I'm also gonna use organic molasses for the later stages of flowering since they're supposed to make buds swell by 20%, but of course I'd like an opinion.

I use Brer Rabbit Blackstrap sparingly....1 ml every once in a while

jacks is good stuff, i use veg (20/20/20) at 1/4 strength and i am going to buy bloom (10/30/20) because of the ratio 1/3/2

NEVER feed jacks at full strength the first feed. like i said earlier 1/4 str. maybe 1/2 in aggressive vegg or flower.
i noticed calcium defiecency once using jacks and quickly sorted that out with 1 tbsp milk/gallon

best nutes for the money!

edit: mollases average NPK is 1/0/5 +micronutes and microherd food

And ive also heard jacks sometimes come up with a magnesium deficiency, but ive got plenty of epsom salt. And while were talking about servings, if a feeding chart says a tablespoon per gallon, how much should i probably put? I got a serving syringe type of thing that measures out mls, and i got burns last time i used a whole teaspoon(not even close to a tablespoon). But thanks for the info and the links, +rep.

The dynagro is like $15/ quart

The smoke'ngrow is dry in premeasured packets and very inexpensive

Start out at 1/4 TEASPOON and work up from there with the jack's...the bloom booster has magnesium but you will need a cal mag supplement if your water doesnt have enough

Hope it helps.....but all that I listed are great and cheap....And look at my grow you will see I use Jack's as well as these

Alright, im pretty sure im gonna try out jacks. But i was looking into organic nutrients, has anyone ever used Age Old Organics? Specifically they're 3 part system of grow bloom and sea kelp. A lot of people say they grow some pretty good buds, but just like any other ferts they lack cal and mag(cause mj needs so goddamn much!). I would wanna use organics because theyre said to have better taste but im not sure if that all really comes into play, seeing as i could just flush chemically grown plants in the last few weeks of flowering. But back to my concerns, would Jacks produce more buds and faster growth than Age Old Organics?

And thanks for all the suggestions, Dyna-Gro looks legitimate but id rather go with something dirt cheap like Jacks, or ill spend a few bucks to go natural.

jack's will do great but you need to add cal mag...dont have to with dyna or smoke'n'grow....nutes dont make taste...dry and cure do....smoke'n'gro for taste smell IMHHO

Hear age old is good but I believe the organics hype is on par with the AN type hype...and IMHHO flushing is a bs waste of time ...feed em till you chop em

Do your add Dolomitic Limestone to your medium? I did, and I def don't need cal mag. Its only 3 bucks a bag (50 pounds) and last FOREVER, like that 3 bucks is going to last for over 100 5 gallon pots worth of mix. Dolomitic lime is primarily all calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. (in most areas its actually magnesium dominant and calcium secondary)

I do use dolomite lime...but it doesn't breakdown fast enough to supply all the plants need and using ro water I need to supplement it anyway... I use it as it ends worry of ph problems as I grow soilessly with peat

Dyna gro Foliage pro Mag Pro And Protekt...all you need beginning to end ...just vary the amounts of the 3 to correspond to the needs of the plants according to stage of growth and what the plants tell you...has everything the plants need and want... I have a gallon of each and I spent $80 but will NEVER need to but nutes again...costs bout 60 cents per plant per grow in soiless...seriously....love the stuff

You can get 8 oz bottles of each for about $35 and that will last quite some time

No def's outside of me starting the flower nutes too late (i had some botanicare grow left) and having a small P def until I switched to the Jacks 15-30-15, its now under control. My fault, not the nutes.

I have jacks 20-20-20 mix, the bloom mix 10-30-20, and the house plant mix 15-30-15.
Use only blackstrap molasses. Organic molasses I have found have just been the unsulphured kind, and that is practically useless. The blackstrap has all the micro nutes, weird aminos, all that crap. Great stuff. I put just over a tablespoon of it in with each gallon I water with. Gotta shake it like hell, i look like I have been using a shake weight LOL.

I love jacks, I can get like 4 grows for the same amount people spend on 1 with "well illustrated" nutrients. The cal mag I never heard of or ran into. I use dolomitic lime, that provides a ton of Mg and Cal, so I would use it. I use about 3/4 cup per 5 gallons of mix. Remember, 3/4 of a cup out of a 50 pound bag, again, the bag LASTS FOREVER, and it buffers your pH, I haven't had my pH swing more than .1 either direction, even after adding some really acidic shit in there. (gotta experiment, and yes my tester works fine)

Well i think im gonna try out jacks. Did you just use the all purpose for vegging and the bloom and house plant mix for flowering? I was thinking about mixing some of the acid loving stuff with some of the all purpose so i could have a little more focus on nitrogen for veg. But ill check out some of that blackstrap molasses. Have you ever used liquid mycorrhyzal?

I only add mycorrhizae in the beginning when I am mixing the soil, and I use the granular stuff.

I would just use jacks, molasses has N in it as well if you want. You want to add nutes as little as possible. I repeat, very, very little. Let the plant tell you when to water and when to feed. I wait until the plant begins to wilt a bit, then I water slowly until I have steady run off. (about 1/4 gallon worth of run off). Every two waterings I add a teaspoon of 20-20-20, and a tablespoon or so of blackstrap molasses(5$), once a month a pinch of epsom salt(1$), and 2 tablespoons of humic acid (12$ (5 cost/ 7 shipping) for a pound, a pound makes 2 gallon of concentrate). Everything can be procured relatively easily, outside of the humic acid so I provided the link. Making sure you get blackstrap molasses may take a trip to a grocery strore or two, but its there. Just make sure its blackstrap, there are a ton of other varieties/grades (as blackstrap is a variety/grade of molasses, not a brand).

I use that same mix through the stretch after 12/12, I think it is important to give the plant a lot of N during the stretch stage, as it is largely a vegetative process. Once the stretch ends or slows a bunch, switch to the 10-30-20 or the 15-30-15. If you don't you will cause a nasty P def, as I found out. Keep the rest of the mix the same...You can ease off on the humic if you want and add more molasses towards the last 3 weeks of flower.

And alright, if the all purpose works for vegging ill try it out, i think its still important to add a lil more N to the mix though. Did they veg fast? I usually use a mix of T5s and T8s for vegging, 6500 K and 1 2500 K for good measure, im too cheap to use HID hahaha. And what does humic acid do? My pops gave me some of it from his earlier grow years but i never got to using it. And i understand your logic on the stretch, id probably mix the bloom with the all purpose to ease it and get some more bud sites though. And yeah, deficiencies are a pain in the ass, ive been adding up my NPK ratios ever since my plants got rust spots a few weeks ago. A good flush got rid of it real fast though, its ridiculous how resilient mj is!

It is a great bounce back plant!!

Humic acid helps the microorganisms in the medium better break down organic material better and aids in making the nutrients in the soil become chelated.
The plants grew and matured in a crazy amount of time. 5 Weeks, all of them showed their sex and were over 12". 20-20-20 worked fine for me. I didn't have any salt build up problems, or growth stunting. Basically why I don't add the fungi over and over again is that once you get the culture going, all you have to do is feed it, which the molasses aids in. The plant never really absorbs any of the carbs you put in the medium, the microorganisms digest it rapidly and the plant gets a huge boost of chelated nutrients from their waste. The more you read on molasses, the more you find out how amazingly versatile it is. Pumps up N and K I believe, and keeps the microbes real happy, which means the plants are real happy.

Awesome, so liquid mycorrhyzal and humic acid are basically the same. And yes, i looked into organic tea a few minutes ago and it turns out microbes need it for energy. And nice, my bagseeds took literally 2 months to reach 1 foot, and only one was a female. I seriously wanted to cry. Its whatever though, males make good compost. But im definately looking into some blackstrap molasses and use some of that humic acid, too bad i didnt use it when i was vegging my girl.
