Goddammit. While taking clones, I noticed that this OG looks like it's a fucking male... I'm really pissed, not so much that it's a male, more so that these are supposed to be fem seeds. I wouldn't have fucking vegged this long if I thought it could potentially be a male. I'll take clones, flower one to confirm it, and then keep one around with the Rocklock male I have (another "feminized" seed that ended up being male) for breeding.

fucking shit....

Haha that's funny..

Yeah, it does kind of suck... Although at least I can use the pollen later on. I was thinking about it last night, Strawberry Cough x OGK, CATK x OGK, Blue Widow x etc... I can have some bomb ass crosses now. Plus this guy is a stinker and has a very desirable growth pattern...

Now that sounds like a plan...

Huh. That's odd cause I've always had females from my fem reserva pravada seeds. I have a fem RL from them now. Hope mine really is a lady. I'm flowering a Kandy Kush from them right now that fortunately was a female.

Damn sorry to hear that up! Fortunatley I've been pretty lucky with my fem seeds but I've heard stories so I know its possible to get a male here and there.

I wonder if these just aren't fem seeds, and if I'm going to encounter another male... I mean, when you feminize seeds, you only get either a fem, or a herm, correct? I guess that's just my logic..

I see alot of people say to stay away from fem. seeds because they are more likely to herm . Fem seeds come from female hermaphodites. Reg seeds that have a good female germination ratio are supposed to be better seeds .

So yeah it's odd you got a male instead of a herm .Mabey they wasn,t fem. I'm buying some Subcool seeds next . He doesn't fem his seeds and has good female germination ratio's .Alot of people grow his strains on here so lot's of good organic threads on here with his strains . He grows out Organically too , but I'm sure you know that .

Yeah, I'm actually one of those people, I know how they make them, and I don't like the idea of using herm pollen... when they released the OG it was only released in fem, so I HAD to get it haha.. I'm also going to get some tga gear in a few weeks, some vortex, jtr, querkle maybe, I'm also getting some cali connection beans. I've seen some tga grows where 80% were female, which is pretty sweet.

side note:

The BBS didn't stretch as much as the descriptions I've read detailed, she really didn't stretch too much to begin with. Thinking she was going to stretch a lot, I kept her in a 3.5 gal pot, instead of a five gal. which is what I initially wanted.

I can't keep her as green as I want, and I think the fact she isn't in a bigger pot is the reason... something to consider in the future.. she continues to be very finicky.

I'll take your word... I still had to tie her down, I tied her down so that the lower branches are now the highest ones, and will receive the most auxins until the stretch is over, and then I'll untie the top and hopefully she'll have an even canopy.
