Nice rubbermaids, I did the same thing for my first grow. My only advice is to find a way to keep the lights close to your plants, otherwise they tend to stretch easily. Good luck!

It's a pretty gangly game, enjoying the graphics and such so far.
The lights are from GE, and get a bit warm if the exhaust fan isn't going.

I was wondering if anyone on ROI could help me? I read a thread on here at one point a few weeks ago and I should have bookmarked it when I read it but I was wondering if anyone out there might know of it. It was a thread on general growing and had a nice paragraph on light cycles/schedules. Going from 20/4 to 18/6 to 16/8 eventually to 12/12 over vegging to eventually flowering. Or if anyone knows this off the top of their head would be great as well.

I am confused as to what you need brother, if you are trying to lower the light cycle into flower gradually to keep from stressing the plant too much (which I do) wait till it is close to being half the size you want when you are done then lower your light cycle by an hour ever other night until you reach 12/12 or at least thats what I do. Any help?

Yeah that's the basic gist of it. The post had a nice schedule like week 1 - week 2 stay on 20/4, then week 3 18/6, and week 4 16/8 staying there till you were done vegging. Which I suppose shouldn't be followed with a such a strict regiment when different strains require different needs. But, it was a nice schedule for reference.

Dude yea I know the one, sort of like the nutrient manufactures bases reference for when to begin application of each part. If I see anything like that I'll send it your way but it is really for those who know nothing about growing once ya got a few grows under your belt of the strain you'll be growing you will be able to speak it's language, for lack of better word. And beyond that veg time is highly varied with indoor growers as everyone has different size requirements. Although sometimes seed breeders include a guide for some of their more popular strains, for example back in the day I think it was Chronic #1 had a SOG propagation guide on the breeders website.

How much growing experience do you have?

Hah, I have 0 growing experience with cannabis. I'm used to dealing with training and shaping bonsai's and growing garden plants. But I spent about a month researching around the web and here before ordering my seeds and the 3 weeks while waiting on them to get here to get a clear idea of what to expect and do.
