I thought of you today UptheArsenal! I had a guy bring a bunch of clones in and they were labeled "BBS." I thought that they might be the Blackberry Sativa you were talking about, but it turned out that they were Blackberry Skunk, still some very beautiful girls. Now I have more plants to play with. >:) I think I am going to do half in a Full Pro-Mix and the other half in 1:1 Happy Frog/Pro-Mix. That or I may end up doing a 100% Fox Farms nutrient run to do a comparison to those using the BioCanna line. I need to get a good camera and start a journal. This may give me the motivation. I have some really nice strains in right now and it would be cool to see comparisons on them in different soil using different nutrients. Some food for thought.

Also, I posted on Matt's thread about this Peppermint Jim's Soil Rejuvenator. 100% organic, veganic mint compost. What are your thoughts on this? I add it at about 2-3 weeks sprinkling it on as a top dressing and water it in, I also use some when I transplant. I sprinkle some around the crater that the root ball will go into. I haven't heard anyone talk about anything like this Mint Compost and as that we are doing Veganic growing, I would like someone's opinion on it. :)

Haha, that's funny mang. I'm sure that bbs will be dank! I know what you mean about comparing different soilmixes, because I inadvertently forgot to amend the first two girls (bbs and sbc) I'm learning what kind of demands unamended soilless need. It's kind of funny, one side of my garden is super green and has no signs of deficiencies (the amended side, so to speak), and the other side which is the two big bbs, and sbc girls which are definitely not optimal.

I know for sure if this is my system, I need to amend in bigger batches than 5gal, sometimes being lazy has it's consequences.

I'll also check out tht pepperment stuff. I've never heard about it but it seems pretty cool

Ya I feel you about the soil mixes, I have the space, but not large enough containers to do big batches, so I am just mixing it as needed, but I'm also just mixing 2 different mediums and not making my own soil mix like you. :P I feel you about the being lazy though. It seems that as soon as I am done doing something, there is something else that needs to be done. Speaking of which, I have 2 plants to transplant and no Soil to do it into, lol...

Those pics were great , I like the Strawberry Cough . Cuts of that are floating around here . I like the dry sift tumbler too man . But I think I can build one of those alot cheaper . Think that might be my next major DIY project .

Try it man, I thought about it but it seems like a lot of work and I didn't want to find all the materials, lol.. if you do it post it up!

Although I still don't know what I want, the tumbler or some bags...

I personally am more partial to Kief from dry sift than bubble hash. Though i do like me some Earwax hash. :)

Alright, so I have this party cup plant that smells amazing, it was from a Silver Jack sack. I'm can't explain how it smells, but it's probably the best smelling weed I've grown, it's a couple weeks into flower and was grown 12/12 from seed, and it's DANK! I can't believe that it smells so much for being a party cup and so early into flowering. I want to reveg this thing now, and in several weeks take a bunch of clones. This is kind of a gamble for me, but I'm not liking how her stretch turned out in the cup. I'm going to smoke a couple bowls, do a bit of research on revegging for a mother, but I think I'll place her in the veg chamber before the lights go out.

This might just be a little experiment of mine, plus if I keep her in the cup I'll get less than 10g... I thought I could see her through and then reveg, but for that small amount of weed, nah...

Thanks for the reassurances after my transplant. I dosed my Apollo 13's with week 1 nutes and they took off, literally 3" of growth in the last day. It seems like the 1:1 mix of Happy Frog/Pro-Mix is really doing well. I have continued to have problems with the plants in full Happy Frog. They must have inconsistencies in their soil. My plants have been in the soil for 6 weeks and for the last 2 weeks I have been just giving water. I gave a dose of half strength nutes and it burned the plants, so I'm not sure what to do about those. I guess I'll just go back to water, Rhizo, and cannazyme until the buds start to show and then try again with the nutes. In the new plants with the 1:1 soil mix, the plants are happily taking the low end of the recommended nute dosage and are growing vigorously.
